Emmi Christensson recently left being London as alternate to be principal Christine in POTO Sweden, Lisa-Anne Wood recently left from being u/s & alternate, both ladies were & are wonderful!
I remember watching this about 16 years ago when I was a kid. Kim So Hyun opened my eyes to musical and it's amazing that she still plays Christine after all these years. some people brag about her voice recently but she's already accomplished so much anyway!
God she's beautiful! I keep praying for the day there will be a black or mixed actress to play Christine as there will be hope for me, my voice is not there yet bet it is getting there by the Grace of God lol but Sierra is without my favorite Christine. I'm just glad the minorities are now being able to play the big roles too!
Lana English played Christine in South Africa and Margaret Ann Gates played Christine in Toronto. So those are two POC Christines in English productions! Be the first black Christine on Broadway!
Now I have seen the Phantom of the opera many times live, and she even in another language makes someone who doesn't know her language still feel the words all the same. Lovely, and one of the best Ive here yet. A first soprano is one of the hardest parts to play, i know being one. Though i am a fair cry from this level of singing. Well done once more.

If I'm not mistaken, that's Ryu Junghan! He's become pretty successful as well, just like the actress (Kim Sohyun), who might as well be in the Top 3 bracket of Korean musical actresses.
The only thing that separates the Korean scene from the American one is language, some of them could legit eat up half of Broadway if they had good English and an incentive I go to Broadway.
@MansicoCudge Yes, they are the microphones. Because of the many costume changes that they would have had, it is easier to have the mic in their hair, as opposed to attached to their clothing, since it would take costume changes longer if it were.

너무 꾀꼬리시네요ㅎㅎ 정말 예쁜 목소리를 가지신 분인데 목관리를 조금만 더 잘하셨으면 좋았을텐데 너무 아쉽네요ㅠㅠ 근데 유명한 뮤배분들은 아무래도 쉬지 않고 일을 하셔서 목이 빨리 가시는 경우가 좀 있더라구요.... 어쨌든 아쉽네요
