Great vid that answers a question I wondered about - just one thing that worries me - if I get these installed, what happens when the batteries need changing in the remote - our skylights are about the same height as in your vid, so no way would we (retired) be able to get to the window - would we have to get someone in to pair every time the battery needs changing? (!) Any thoughts would be welcome!
Hello. I have a fmc velux blind. The button on the blind itself is just there to cover the hole on mines as I've opened it and there isn't a switch internally mounted on circuit board. I've tried your method just with remote with no luck. Is there another way of doing this with fmc model. I've connected to 24v DC supply and it's mounted on a non motorized velux window
I don’t have any experience with that kind of blind. I do know that there is a control box that the electrician should have installed in the wall or ceiling. I would contact velux to figure it out.
This only works for solar powered blinds... Doesn't work for blinds powered by the Integra-window. To pair this, you need to reset the window as well (to my knowledge).
@@roofingtips blinds attached on a window powered by mains are reset when you reset the window. The reset-button underneath this blind isn’t connected to anything.
Thank you! I was scratching my head trying to pair the remote and blind!
I’m glad I was able to help you!
Worked perfectly. Just wanted to say thank you

The remote should retain the programming if you change the batteries. It’ll be fine

Do these have to hook up to electricity?
Not this model. This one is completely solar powered.
I really like these
We do too!
Can you pair three blinds to one remote?
Yep! I once had to program 10 skylights on one remote

You have to reset the blind itself on all wireless remotes

@@roofingtips Maybe we are talking about different things?
Competitors like, only 5 star installer in the mid south eh? We’ll see about that.
Gives 1 star rating
We don’t even say that anymore. Velux changed the name to “skylight specialist”
