After all these years, I'm still using my old Cameo and I just recently purchased the pen adapter set. Your video really helped me figure out just how to use it! Thanks so much! If you watch the video provided on the Silhouette channel, it tells you that these adapters will not work on the old Cameos. That is incorrect. (They probably don't have a really old Cameo available to try it on - LOL!)
I really enjoyed this tutorial. You were concise. My sketch pens were dry and I was cutting a very intricate design on a white backing of htv. This helped me enomously. I knew just what to weed. I have had my pen holders a couple of months and not used them because I was intimidated. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the great video! Very informative. I got my pen holders with some other Silhouette items for Christmas and have been a little nervous to use them. So glad I looked it up on RUclips and found your video tut, feeling confident now & going to give it a try- thanks again!
thanks, very informative. Who would have thought I wasn't using the pen holders correctly?! They seem so easy but I missed one critical point. And you have beautiful hands.
Thanks so much for showing me how to utilize the pen holders. The packaging really doesn't explain the process very well, but you did an excellent job~. Thanks again!
Thank you for doing this video, especially with your cold and recent surgery. Months have passed, and hopefully you're all better! Just got a Cameo 2 and it's almost overwhelming. I've never used software, just Cricut Cartridges. Lots to learn from you!
Thanks so much for sharing this video! I just got my Silhouette Cameo a few weeks ago and I bought the new Pen Holders yesterday and your video makes me feel confident in trying them out! :-)
Thank you for the tips I got my cameo 4 last year but barley used it. I have been trying again to learn so I can make my xmas gifts, and your a wonderful teacher thank you subs and notifications are on!!!!
Thanks for this video. I just got my cutter today and I ordered the pen holders, but it did not have any instruction for using them. This was great!!!!!!!!!!!

Favored Favors How? Im tried and looking in the options but I dont saw any for single scrip..help me please!! I would like to write message inside greatting cards
I am impressed by the price of these! I have a pen holder (that I love), but it doesn't have all of the different sizes. I think I am going to order me one! I need something that will hold a sharpie because I am going to label spice jars with Martha Stewart's dishwasher safe labels. Thanks for the tutorial!
How would you get the lines filled in and printed instead of just the outside stroke lines? Would you use a fill color or does it just print the edges for heavier fonts?
great video, tanks just got my Cameo and will definitely get this pen holler for sure to write on my cards. :) how do you fill in the letters? Do you find the Cricut mats cut better? Keep'em coming. I need to learn. :).
Just got mine in yesterday's mail, so I'm glad you shared this great video. Thank you I have one question for you, since my Silhoutte Mat is full of cut marks and very well used should I use a new mat
I have just bought these same pen holders but not yet used them. I am wondering if one can write addresses onto envelopes. Would it move the paper because of the top layer is not stuck to the mat.Do you have any tips to keep the top layer of the envelopes in place
favored flowers do you know why when I put my pen or marker in it won't thread? the two pieces won't thread together. if I remove the pen or marker they thread together just fine...any ideas of what I'm doing wrong??
I'm using the Sharpie ultrafine point. The medium one seems to fit well. When I try to screw it in the threads won't catch. They do when I'm just screwing it in by itself (without the pen in it). Can anyone help me out with what I'm doing wrong?
I just purchased a cameo, I am just learning to do things. Well, in fact I have tried to get it to work for me but I keep having problems. I have a question once you draw out the message can you cut it out? I am wanting to cut out different saying and place them on alot of different stuff. I am really excited but it is all confusing. Thanks for the tip on the en holder,
i ordered the pen holder. I have attempted about 8 times to to cut out a fancy word ; " today and the machine eat up the fabris each time. I tried different transfers, applied different ways and I still am unable to get a design made.. Any tips.
Linda Monte Are you trying to cut fabric? I know the Silhouette stabilizer is supposed ti be good. Ive only cut fabric once using some bond material that I got at Joanns and I didn't have any issues with it.
That is the reason I bought it. I was shown at a Babylock training section the usage of the camero to cut pieces out for the 10 needle embroidery machine to sew down but stil not able to get a good cut. I worked at it all day today and got ate up fabric. All different types.
Thanks very much for this. I've just ordered a silhouette with all the pens etc, but what I'm not sure of is why would I want to use the sketch pens at all? Why not just colour print on my printer? Anyone? Thanks! :)

Could you please tell me what the font is that you've used in this very helpful tutorial you did, thanks Traydi
I want to thank you so much I learned so much
Thanks so much for the review!! I am going to have to get one :)
You would use a single script font if you don't want the outline. Not sure if there is a way to fill it in or not other than using Print n cut.
Favored Favors How? Im tried and looking in the options but I dont saw any for single scrip..help me please!! I would like to write message inside greatting cards

I have one question for you, since my Silhoutte Mat is full of cut marks and very well used should I use a new mat
I would try it on some scratch paper first and if you see no problems then you may not have to change it out.
I can't wait to see how you use it
Trying to do a fill color object. Just loaded the butterfly and will only trace. Do I need to do something else?
I love it I must to get one
I have just bought these same pen holders but not yet used them. I am wondering if one can write addresses onto envelopes. Would it move the paper because of the top layer is not stuck to the mat.Do you have any tips to keep the top layer of the envelopes in place

+docbeav2 I had the same problem!!! Not too happy right now:(

Thanks very much for this. I've just ordered a silhouette with all the pens etc, but what I'm not sure of is why would I want to use the sketch pens at all? Why not just colour print on my printer? Anyone? Thanks! :)
Melanie Maguire Well my first thought is it writes on different kinds of material that your printer might not handle, like cloth.
