Isn’t programming AM LCD’s at all. Am I doing it wrong? I’m plugging OEM LCD into port, copy data and disconnect. Immediately put AM LCD in same port and write data. It never works, I figure I’m doing something wrong but the lightning port on the unit is faulty as well.

Is there such thing as original apple battery that being sold?? I mean apple is anti-repair and they didn't sell their genuine parts to customers or to other company. So what is sold in the market are AAA+ parts. And to your problem you have to get the original battery since its the only s/n registered to your device there is another way though by using an nand write to edit syscfg of the device.

Got iCopy Plus. True Tone copy does not work any iPhone 7 and 8 series. So far only worked on X series.
iphone 7 does not have true tone. This feature was first introduced on iphone 8.
How do you change language? I had mine in English and it switched somehow to Chinese and I can’t read anything. There must be a way cause I did it somehow. Please help

I just bought one and it doesn't power on! There seems to be a charge port on the end but no USB cable fits it. How does it charge? What cable fits it?

The only way to turn it on was using the Apple Lighting cable.
Edit: Apparently they’re two models of their product. One with built-in battery and then the other without battery.
So it looks like we got the one without the battery.
It doesn’t comes with a battery thats why you need to connect the lightning cable every time. You can install a battery though. There’s a gap behind the the screen to fit a small size lithium battery with iPhone 7 connector. Even though there’s no room for iPhone 7 battery.

@@Pleiades55 strip down an iphone 7 battery connector from an old iphone 7 battery then solder it to any 3.7v lithium battery that you could house inside the module. For example old Nokia 3310 battery would be a perfect fit or something similar in size.
Im having trouble with the battery reader, either its not working or doesnt work as intended. I can read batteries but i cant write to any new batteries. I get "write unsecssful, please check its connected". I know its connected as it reads the battery in first place. Ive tried updated and still nto working.
Also, it reads the icopy in pc but when i plug battery in it doesnt detect in pc software. Ive followed all the intructions and this video.
So is this just a bad unit or the device just doesnt do as intended?! Can you message me on here as not got whatsapp at the moment. Thanks

iphone xr shows battery service with no capacity and pop up genuine batter message on the screen. its original battery inside ok i took out new battery from my spare phone and tried to copying data from old battery onto new one all done sucessfully with this tool but its still shows no capasity and genuine battery pop ups so what is the solution for this

Apple has the battery data stored at the thing at the bottom of the battery, so the only fix would be to transfer it on the other battery

I tried it with the software, and once you change the battery health it bricks the battery.. I thing the ic chips on the replacement battery are no good. that's the problem

I replaced hundreds of iPhone 11 screens in my repair shop and they all worked perfectly fine. I only use high quality parts (at least $100 parts). The problem is a lot of people use cheap shit parts, then of course they're having issues. I'm not saying that the iCopy is useless, but if using the right parts you can do without it.
Help I cannot use my program without it keep prompting me to update to v2.2.5. Where can I download v2.2.5 file to update my iCopy?

If you mean save the data into PC files, and write in wen new LCD arrived, yes it can.

First time i connected it to pc it started an update..during the update lighting cable accidentally disconnected and now wont turn on and pc doesnt recognise it..any way for a hard reset on the device??

My two batterys are dead after editing they are showing as 0mah what should i do to get them back and they both are showing as 8plus they are originally xs batteries

did you plug them into the wrong connection on the board? Try rewriting them with the left connection

You can buy cheap "refurbished" screens with the original "LCD" only and aftermarket digitizer. It's the LCD which has the EEPROM to write to. ;)

I got that tool and is it possible to Restore Battery Health option in Settings without original battery - same as here shown at 2:35 it is possible to restore TrueTone without original LCD.

Hello, when I use the battery part, I put it to reset her cycles, health goes to 100%. But when I put the battery back in the Iphone, it keeps reading the old health. What to do in this case?

Hey, once I modify the battery health it says it was successful. However when I plug the battery back on my phone it still shows the original batter Health percentage, do you have a fix for this.

It's a good device but unfortunately working only on original screens :(
I already tested on few screens types.
it depends on LCD - like I've purchased cheap copy and I've managed to copy data and flash to new LCD iPhone 8 and I had TrueTone but.......... colour warm did not changed - I've bought £5 more expensive LCD (NOT original Apple) - and worked perfect - and even home button flushed more better - and same with batteries.
@@AppleReviews yeah I got a new 8 and 8+ aftermarket screens but better quality and $4 more expensive and yeah I could copy data to the new screen and true tone is working
@@AppleReviews < The iPhone parts aftermarket is a clusterf*ck, on some of the cheapest screen "copies" they use an LCD salvaged from on original screen, that's why it works. ;)

So why would I need this when I repair the LCD on an iPhone would it not just work with a new one
LCDs now are calibrated for color so they come paired to the logic board. When you connect a new screen the screen will work but the True Tone function will not. If you want to restore TT the you read/copy code from original broken screen and then write the code onto the new screen before assembly.
I've been doing iPhone repairs since 2007 and never had a problem with good high quality replacement screens. Issues happen to those cheapskates who are trying to save $10, which is obviously not worth it. Just get a grade A/B screen and you'll thank me later. ;)
@@BillAnt for the iPhone 11 and up you’ll need this. Even with a genuine Apple screen you’ll still need this. Apple is trying to crack down on people repairing their phones.
