Is this another poetic song about birth or 'getting born'? I started to collect them and they are all lovely in a different way, so far. I only recently started understanding art and music I have loved for very long time in a more metaphorical and deep way. I know this is gonna be unpopular, but that's what plurality of opinions is for, isn't it: I don't think additional instruments and choir added anything of interest to the piece. Esp the bridge sounds thoroughly uninspired IMO - the piano and the string chords. And on top of that, the strings are ever so slightly out of tune.. the whole thing has an accordeon-y vibe to it (might be on purpose, but I don't like it). and I am by no means a purist - I love the idea of rethinking musical pieces in different instrumentations and styles. I heard the original of this song when it first came out and loved it ever since (big The Knife fan here), and I absolutely adore what Jose Gonzales turned it into. Learning it on guitar right as I type this, gotta play it at a wedding.. but I'm getting carried away :D
