I'm wondering with how much love Efron is getting, he can sneak in at SAG, and hell, even get a surprise BAFTA longlist mention as their voting ends today or tomorrow I believe. You never know with these popular late actor runs
My wild card prediction is that I could see a world where Bradley Cooper misses a nomination like lady Gaga did for house of Gucci. I don't actually think it's likely to happen, but I could see a scenario where that goes down. People really don't like this movie, and Netflix doesn't help because I think a lot of people are turning it off before the end. And I don't think the people who like it are passionate enough to balance out the hate. I think his shot at a win is very low.
@@jjonah1636 If Cooper misses, it’ll be in Best Director, even though-given the film’s “performative” perception and gun to my head-he’d be more deserving of that than a Best Actor nom.
Great breakdown of each of the actors and their chances! My prediction - Murphy, Cooper, Giamatti, Wright, DeCaprio/Domingo (this spot is a tough call-slight edge to Leo) The one I really wish for - Keoghan! He'd be top of my list. And yes, his Banshees performance was amazing - so real I actually had a moment when I wondered if it was exploitive of this poor slow boy - I forgot his character was an actor!
One correction Kristen Stewart wasn't nominated for the SAG award,it was Jennifer Hudson getting nominated for Respect but you were right about most of the nominees were from biopics with Olivia Colman for The Lost Daughter
I dont know why you guys think Dicaprio should be in Top 5.. If someone knows what acting is he's out of the Top 5 easily.. I would rate his performance at the 8th place: 1. Cillian Murphy 2. Bradley Cooper 3. Paul Giamatti 4. Colman Domingo 5. Jeffrey Wright 6. Zac Effron 7. Andrew Scott 8. Dicaprio
@benjaminmartinez1638 Efrons performance was phenomenal.. Cooper I can understand it's all.makeup.. Dicaprio acted nothing special.. Same acting which we have seen from couple of years
Cooper is going to win,it fits the profile more than Murphy and giamatti and i just can't imagine why would you snub DiCaprio when he is great in top contender,it would be disappointing if he missed
I hope Murphy wins globes so we can burry the Cooper's talks
idc what everyone says. Bradley Cooper would deserve that Oscar win
Out of all the Oppenheimer nominations Cillians is the only one I’m rooting for

I hope he misses - so many other deserving people

Paul Giamatti should win. The Holdovers was one of the best movies of the year and Giamatti deserves a lot of the credit.
Agreed. Not the showiest, but the best performance
@@Jasononfilm2323 Alas, if only Giamatti and Murphy could tie. Would be an all-timer Oscars moment. 😅
just to point out, kristen stewart didn't get in at sag for Spencer. she only got in at gg and cc.

Thank you for the correction!
Really hoping Andrew Scott and Zac Efron have a chance to get in - both deserving
I think Andrew will get in cause he's actually one of the people campaigning the most this year in addition to being a brilliant performance
Really hope Cooper doesn’t win
Davine hasn't lost any critics choice award. Shes coming for that best supporting actress oscar.
Murphy
Cooper
Giamatti
Domingo
Efron
Ugh I love your vids but sometimes wish they were shorter :( an hour is almost impossible to watch fully though sometimes
Óscar for zac efron

I haven't seen half of these but I think DiCaprio is great,it would be a letdown if he missed
You have Efron at 6 and Cooper at 2. Right there, your list sounds unoriginal.

Can you guys do a Best Supporting Actor breakdown
