    On Designing here a color chart off Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/mannyv27/sublimation/
    May need to experiment on other color garments that will adjust the colors on your designs. Example: Blue shirt + Yellow design = Green (design part). Sports Grey Crewneck is washed tested.

    Hey! Thanks for the video! I Hope You Are Having A Bless Day! My Daughter Is An Artist and designs clothing. She wants to do a black hoodie with white letters, I normally set the heat press for 400 for 60 seconds, what do you recommend? And should I buy the sublimation spray? Since the hoodie is 50 cotton and 50 polyester.

    Great video man, have you tried using the ppd transfer paper on the 50/50 hoodies. If you have what settings you using, because the normal setting for shirts does not work. i keep melting the image into the garment.

    • @diywithkenny8399
      @diywithkenny8399  2 года назад +2

      Hello & thanks. No have not tried PPD transfer on the hoodies. I would recommend the standard settings & regular jetink.
      Use old hoodie and try: reducing the pressure a little (heat press), reduce heat 10- 15 degrees, 15 seconds should be good. Everyone setup is different, BUT make adjustments.. also just cut your design into 5 or more pieces so won't waste a lot of ppd. It is trial and error & that what I would do.

      Hello. Since my pup chewed on my hoodie strings on the orange one, been wearing it on the regular. 10x washed and a few times dried. Holding but like I said in video, anything that cotton 1st wash will give a slight fade or we say vintage looked.

    Yo! Do these setting apply if using dark transfer paper? 385, 60 seconds? Thanks and awesome videos, I'm a beginner. So far my prints seem inconsistent. Appreciate all the help

    • @diywithkenny8399
      @diywithkenny8399  2 года назад +2

      Yes.. Could try 400 degrees, medium to firm pressure, but also depends on your heat press, what sublimation ink, if you are using a standard printout from printer, and if you do a 2nd press 15 to 20 seconds? All materials I have used and settings have worked on my other standard 15x15 Mpress (heat press).

    • @Bengalpool

      @@diywithkenny8399 I use a 15x15 TUSY Heat Press, Dark PPD Inkjet Transfer paper and DelTeck Sublimation Ink. I have a hoodie to do tonight. The last one I didn't do that long of a press, so I already see one of my issues, but on some of my 50/50 shirts, the color of my final product is darker/lighter than the other. I feel like I'm just rushing through it and not taking notes to see which combo worked best.

    • @diywithkenny8399
      @diywithkenny8399  2 года назад +2

      Ok you posting off this video, heat transfer paper totally different. Can you convert back to regular ink? If you can I would use that. Just asking.
      Now you may have to lay down the heat transfer paper according to your directions, print out design on sublimation paper (mirrored image), then crank up your heat to 385 to 400 degrees, firm pressure (knob on heat press). I would press at least 30secs to 45secs.. i would try older shirt 1st, again your materials are different & you should see and tweek your settings if needed. 👈This option if sublimation. But regular jetink is best for heat transfer paper overall with the instructions giving by product.

    • @diywithkenny8399

      Would recommemd any light colors, pastel colors; sublimation will not look good on darker colors starting with purple, navy, black, heather gray are darker. Only thing is learning so may need a color chart to see what will effect example color garment with example color type design. Blue + Yellow = Green 👈
