Blackwater Peated Rye Starburst Spice Bag Irish Whiskey ia a European twist on a New World whisky style; here spicy rye is mellowed by oats and peat and matured in a wonderful cask with plum notes from Tempranillo grapes. Bottled at the classic strength of 100 US proof (50% alcohol content).
Distilled on 4 June 2020; fully matured in ex-Ribera del Duero casks from Northern Spain.
Mashbill - 55% rye, 31% malted barley, 9% oats, 5% peated malt = 100% Irish grown and malted grain.
