My sis was in Mexico at that time and she said it wasn’t that much of a storm just a couple of tree branches fell.the news are just exaggerating because they need money 😂

NatalieChicken: First of all- Why did your sister stay through a hurricane??
Secondly- Where was she? In a fine resort in Cancun that was built to withstand hurricanes?
Did she drive through the jungles and see how the real people of that area survived and fared? Was she on the windward side or the leeward side?!!?? I love the resorts of that area, but especially, I love to get out and meet the indigenous people. It’s not only about sunshine and margaritas for those folks.

It's better to be safe than sorry. She wouldn't have been happy had a tree or branch landed on her, would she? Don't be ignorant and downplay stuff like this. People literally died in the Caribbean Islands. Please TRY to be better than the "stupid 'murican drunk tourist" stereotype.
