The hurricane season just started. This is just a teaser. We don't know how long the real feature is going to be and how much damage it is going to inflict.
The power outage problem in Houston following the recent hurricane underscores a major issue with infrastructure. It's concerning that in a city where residents pay significant taxes, they still experience outages due to outdated above-ground power systems. Houstonians rightfully expect better service in return for their tax contributions. It's imperative that CenterPoint Energy and city officials prioritize upgrading to underground systems to ensure reliability and meet the expectations of its residents.

Galveston - while the hurricane did a lot of damage, there's also a lot of shoddy construction making destruction more likely. I grew up there.
