    United Airlines has a fleet of over 350 Boeing 737's, ranging from the 737NG variants (-700, -800, -900) to the new 737 MAX (MAX 8 and MAX 9). So it goes without saying that there are a variety of cabin configurations you can fly on across this large fleet. Today, we're flying the oldest of these configurations on one of United's former Continental 737-700's. It's my first time flying United's -700 and I've heard rather mixed reviews about its economy class. I mean, this configuration offers the least amount of economy class pitch out of the entire United fleet (30 inches putting it on par with American Airlines Kodiak). So let's see what this nearly-six-foot guy thinks of it on this 3.5 hour flight from San Diego to Chicago.

    If you already live in Chicago, it's your destiny to become an aviator. Boeing and United headquarters are both in your city.
    Perhaps it's called "windy city" for another reason. It's literally the wind beneath your wings.

    I prefer United over American or Delta. Another great video review.

      Thanks. Honestly Delta is the best of the three. United is getting better though, while AA isn’t improving by any means.

    Thank you for the detailed and comprehensive review. I am applying for the United Aviate Academy, and I already passed the interview. I am waiting for my online aptitude and personality assessment. I expect to pass, since I was the top of my class in medical school and I am a popular pediatrician. I work well with people and I always enjoy serving others.

    As United modernizes their fleet, do you think they'll retrofit the Pinnacle seats like they did with their 787-8s or will they completely replace the whole seats with the Meridian seats?

  • @t10391

    Should untied replace its 737-700s with A220/A319NEO or A320NEO

    An alternative approach to having more leg room is to select shorter parents. I am 5' 4", and I always have plenty of leg room.

  • @zoebells767
    @zoebells767 2 года назад

    The -700s have worse legroom than the 800s and 900s. I don’t know why, but it’s definitely worse

    In most Flight Radar 24 applications, it happens that some private jets come on the radar after a while.
    Some army planes sometimes come on the radar and never come. Why is that?

    • @ASAviation
      @ASAviation  2 года назад +1

      That I'm not sure about. Military planes are hard to track because people don't want others seeing them. So I am not too sure and also wonder that.
