I feel genuine empathy for LUFC. I'm American, and a devoted fan of the beautiful game (Celtic FC - Up the Bhoys!). I'm also a passionate fan of gridiron football. My local team was once a national power at the university level. For Europeans benefit, collegiate sports in America are huge business... in some regions, like mine, far more than professional. For decades, our team was one of the most fearsome in the country. In 1995, they fielded what many still consider to be the greatest team in the 150+ year history of the game. For the last 20 years, they have been a laughing stock. Teams they used to crush with ease have been licking their chops. Changes in the administration of the sport have left them at a horrible disadvantage on a number of levels. Overpaid coaches have come and gone. Still, 90,000 fans show up for every home game. Hope springs eternal every preseason. And every year, it falls apart. Chin up, Leeds. Life is cyclical. Love your club. Remember the triumphs. In defeat, take solace that it is, in the end, only a game - even if that game is your passion, as well.
Since moving to Reading in 2012 I've never been as close to Leeds as I used to be and have only watched them a handful of times since then. I've felt less connected to the club over the last year or two despite how well we have been playing, and I havent visited Elland Road for a long time. But videos like this remind me why I support and love this club. We have finally pulled through the harder times and are moving onto better things. I feel nearly as close to LUFC as I did back in the league one days, those days when little else mattered and we would go to games quite often. The odd time in the video one of the people would chat a bit of rubbish but in general it was brilliant and I felt myself getting goosebumps at times. Thank you Leeds for restoring my faith and enjoyment I get out of football. And thank you copa90 for making this great video.

Not even a Leeds fan and I cried.
Best video seen all year.Bates stuff didn't quite catch the rift he established between himself and the fans.RIP Norman Hunter.Classy man.
Please, when we get fans back, take Derby Days to Elland for the Manchester United match. I think that is a rivalry that is worth documenting.
Great video. Honestly, after today's game im even more convinced that Leeds can finish in the top 10.
Really loved this. Thank you :)
Brilliant piece, had me in tears in the end. MOT
What a great club with a rich history, I hope they're in the EPL for the long-haul. Brilliant video!
who in your opinion is a bigger club chelsea or leeds
What an awesome, awesome video production! MOT.
as a young american back then i could only watch chamions league. Leeds was my team Alan Smith was my guy! Then they dissapeared. Glad theyre back!!

A real tear jerker. Thanks for that Copa90
Good to see you back !
Beautiful club !
Was laughing "the efl released this coronavirus" then was in tears over norman hunter. Brilliant watch
Love watching people talk about their clubs.
Brilliant, heartfelt and concise. Informative and emotive. Top craic. ALAW MOT
Not a dry eye when that wonderful woman spoke about Norman Hunter.....we all love Leeds
NUFC we know the feeling RESPECT!
