For iPhones, if you're out alone, and set up the phone as in the water bottle tip. You can use the camera app on the apple watch to compose yourself or take the shot with it.

The Anamorphic (as well as all the other V2 lenses) are able to be mounted onto any case with the Moment V2 mount. So yes, if you buy the iPhone X Moment Case, you can mount your Anamorphic to it - as well as to your iPhone 8 Plus - as long as you have a Moment case for that as well. :)
Would love to use the anamorphic lens..but I got a note 9..and my gimbal is already on his max payload..so the lens+ the holder would overload and ruin the gimbal unfortunately

As someone who's just now getting into editing images, is there a point where you can underexpose to the point where you lose data? I take a lot of shots at night and sometimes go as low as -2.0 to try and keep neon lights tamed
You can definitely crush the darks, so watch out for that! I think under or over exposing is all about choosing where to keep the data and where to be okay losing it.
Especially with smartphone sensors yeah? That's what I think as well, which is why I was astonished to see that loads of tech RUclipsrs often advise people to aim for underexposure; I could just be reading too much into it, granted, but the advice seems to be rather poorly phrased.
I have a doubt about filming yourself in public spaces like this, I mean where I live if I leave my phone causally hanging on a cup or whatever by the time I get back it’s gone hahaha

Although it is important to clean you lens, you should not use dirt/sand as an abrasive to clean your lens. It is a very bad suggestion. Yes, the hardness of your lens glass is generally harder than most dirt and sand, but there are often impurities in the sand/dirt that are harder than your glass, and may scratch your lens. Also, the coating on your camera lens is certainly not harder than dirt/sand.

The 3rd party app camera is such a game changer. I usually take photos on the default cam and heavily rely on editing but not anymore!
Those glasses really are cool. Who makes them? My eyes are super sensitive to wind and having the sides covered would make a huge difference.
