Thank you for: 1.For not having background filler sounds, music, or gimmicky animations. 2.For no grimacing or distorted gesticulation in video thumbnail. 3.For speaking in an adult, calm tone of voice, eschewing the 'breathless emergency' vociferation recently popular on tutorial videos. Great video, best luck.

I love this video and have added it to my photography playlist. I'm a total beginner and want to take full body pictures indoors (usually in the evening after the sun has set) to document alternative fashion and historical fashion outfits. I recently bought a new smartphone (samsung galaxy A52s) to replace my older one from 2014 (motorola moto G2). I learned about the features in my new smartphone camera. But after two practice sessions I couldn't get clear photos so I've given myself photography homework. Probably my lighting situation still isn't good enough (I've got 2 lamps and a white bed sheet as a backdrop).
The people in my community make it look easy, and they say "just experiment". I didn't expect it to be very easy, photography takes time and effort and studying and years of getting better after all, but it is turning out harder than I thought.

@@TheChameleon2008 I bought a tripod in december and led lamps as well which have solved my most immediate lighting issues. The photos I took after that were much much better.

@@itsalwayshalloweenexceptwh5118 thats good to hear! if the lighting still isn't optimal then you could buy one of those fold able reflective discs to get some nice bounce lights.

Thanks for interesting video. A trick I like to use if a group of people are looking wooden in a pose is to slowly lift one leg up. This causes a reaction of amusement or shock and often makes for more interesting faces .

Smartphones are NOT made to be held so get a holder with a tripod socket and a hand pod or small tripod. ( these are cheap) You will find it much easier to take both photos and smooth video. And use the vocal commands 'smile' and 'record video' (if available') so you don't need to touch the phone at all - you can set it up, stand back and give the command. How I wish my CAMERAS had this feature! Great Video Mountmedia!

What are you on? They are mainly designed to be held, that's literally the purpose of OIS in phones. A tripod is needed when really long exposures but THEY ARE DESINGED TO BE HELD.

I currently have a 12 pro and want to upgrade soon. I have tmobile. I want a good astrophotography phone. What would you get? I'm looking at s23 ultra and 14 pro, 15 pro and pixel 7's although i am confused if they're all bad with overheating caused by g2 chip or only certain one gets hot easily.

      Iso _max
      Time_max 16or 32 seconds
Focus the stars a bit or by a place far away with lights and set the focus
Boom you get astrophotography pics with stars
S23 can get you hyperlapse pics where you keep it for 3 4 hours and a video of stars can be made where you can also see some satellites
Or get like a cool stars in motion pic .

Dead on with the pro tools on your cellphone not getting enough attention! The #1 question I answer after people are shocked that I take all of my pics with my cellphone is "Why don't my cellphone shots look like this?" It's normally because they are not reducing the exposure on their shots and just taking pics with the auto feature. Cellphones are designed to intentionally bring in too much light because the cellphone companies are anticipating non-photographers taking pics of friends and objects in the foreground, so the aperture on the phone camera brings in too much light as compensation. Just tapping the screen and lowering the exposure helps so much! Thanks for the video, learned a lot.

I disagree with the concept of mistakes here, HDR photos are not in anyway superior to blown out highlights and crushed shadows. The intent of the artist and whether they achieved it and the influence of those works on the viewers are the once we should be focusing on

Smartphone photograph mistake #1: Thinking that the pictures taken by the handheld computer with an imaging component qualifies as "photography". It is more like "computational art". When photographers do as much as possible to "own" the photo and pretend they are the most important component of the effort, the smartphone ignores them.
