Animals can definitely sense our energy and emotions. I've had many instances where animals approached me either because I was in complete calm or in need of soothing from my internal uneasyness. Thank you so much for this episode, it definitely brought me some new insights I'm curious + interested to know more about!

Embracing and accepting the emotions of loss, pain, physical and mental is part of life and allowing it to occur gives opportunity to learn more about yourself. It's
certainly difficult and and needs to give themself grace to heal. Do not put a timeline on healing, you'll feel it. Love and positive energy to all !!!❤🙏

This episode spoke to me in so many ways, I lost my sister last October to drugs and shortly after that my husband decided he wanted a divorce. All this has impacted me in such a visceral way emotionally. I did stop giving myself compassion and love. I felt worthless, unheard, alone. Your work continues to help me truly be their for me. While I still have my low moments. I'm able to notice my emotional habits and my thought patterns. Your work has saved lives and reawaken me thank you!!!

Holding you in heart as the year anniversary of this time comes and goes. Your sharing alone is so helpful to so many. Thank you for being here on the journey with us, committing to the self love + compassion you've always deserved. Awareness of ourselves and our emotional habits is our key to everything. Grateful you took the time to watch and share! Sending you much love.

I have been trying to recover from a broken heart for months. (romantic one)
    I still miss him hugely.
Now I need to try to heal a totally shattered heart. I had to let my dog go Friday night. He was such a good boy. Always by my side. I still see him everywhere around the house and yard.
    RIP mommy’s boy Darby.

@@SelfHealersSoundboard Thank you. You’re correct, the silence is deafening. He was my barker. Although I miss him tremendously, I believe my other dog Mia, misses him more. Darby was her buddy for almost 10 years. She is moping around whining and won’t play
ball or with her toys. She sleeps in his bed. She was even laying in his spot in the yard just today. She’s never laid there. It’s so sad to watch knowing I cannot do anything. 🥺

In fact, my cardiologist even diagnosed me with a torn heartstring. Strange, eh? I appreciate your message that we are built for resilience and that our heart can be mended. This gives me hope. Jenna, when I first heard your story about Jake I was driving and listening to the podcast in the car. I immediately started crying I think I'm living in a parallel experience but the BEFORE of what happened to Jake except Jake is my brother. I feel so much of his pain and I want to know that I've done everything I could to help him. He is my first trauma bond. Our childhoods were very painful. Our father died last December and the year has been a long year of pain and trauma and betrayal. I often worry he can't handle the amount of trauma his life has endured and hope that he can get the help he needs to start self healing.

Wow Listening to your story about your friends Jake makes me think of my similar experience with my recent boyfriend. We just recently broke up and i had not realized his meaning for using until you laid out and told your story and how it went down. My boyfriend when experiencing heartbreak used the quickest method/ copying mechanism per say he knew how to use. And unfortunately for him it was drugs as well. I dont want too be the reason for his using and i know i cant blame myself and the heartbreak for that but it can be super hard when they dont want too put any of the blame onto themselves. Thanks for sharing.
