  • A friend brings Mark his new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe because the horn stopped working and wants to know what's wrong with it before wasting his time at the dealer.

    It’s a supplier issue the new horns has a totally different part number according to Hyundai the horns fail due to moisture and corrosion buildup inside them so the dealership should replace with a new part number if your hold fails again they are probably replacing it with the same defective part number

      I know Tier1 suppliers would never let more than a few hundred defective ones get out the door - let alone years worth - this is some CAN bus related issue

    I have a 2023 Kona Ev. I’m on my Third horn only 15000kms little over a year old lol.

      I think they have a BCM problem not a horn problem - Cheers from Canada Eng!

      I believe they have something wrong but will just keep replacing horns lol. Greetings from St. John’s Newfoundland 👍
