      Eryk Korcelli How long did it take you? Im starting my training today, I can do bent arm presses and hspu's what not. I think it will take me around 2-3 months?

    • @frinksbeast733
      @frinksbeast733 9 лет назад +1

      +mephist7 Sorry for not answering. If you have poor straight arm strength it can take a bit, but hspu and bent arm presses are very good foundation. Work on your pike and pancake flexibility about 4-5 times a week, also work on your planche lean, handstand press lean (just try to lift your legs up in that hs press position) and presses against the wall (lower back strength and technique) And dont forget about your bent arm pushing because they work together like the perfect machine. Hope that help if you didnt achieve it yet :D

      +Frinks Beast Thanks man, one of my first straddle presses two months ago instagram.com/p/6UiPVKHkmx/?taken-by=mephist7 I noticed my flexibity sucked so I worked on it and I have another straddle press later on on my ig where my flexibility is much better but the press was not great. I probably cant do it now havent trained in like 6 weeks been training other stuff :D

    • @frinksbeast733
      @frinksbeast733 9 лет назад +1

      +mephist7 Dont worry cause this move is really techniqal and if you will not train it for a while but continue strength training when you will back it will take maybe 2 sessions for learning the move again :D Stay tuned!!

    A perfect straddle press hs doesnt require any strength at all, but flexibility. Ideally the shoulders dont lean past ur hands if u have a perfect pancake stretch.This reduces wrist strain, opens up the shoulders in the hs position and makes the move look way more clean

    Hi I am 13 years old girl who lives in Korea. (I am using english because my english is better and Korean)I am selftaught gymnast, and working for Press handstand. By the way, I just can pull me up to press position, where you start presshanstand in this video. But I am working for Straddle holding up-your position-handstand.As I say, I can pull my self up to your staring position but have no idea how to go to handstand.Any tips?

    • @DanJeongg

      Can Ilhan not necessarily because people have different weaknesses and strengths. You also need a good pressing strength aside from lower back strength

    I can do a press to handstand on the floor, but I couldn't start from the L sit to handstand. Or even lower myself from handstand down to L sit. Is it due to flexibility issue or I'm not quite there yet?

    • @DanJeongg
      @DanJeongg  11 лет назад

      are you trying to do bent arm l sit to handstand or straight arm?

    • @zzhomeboy1
      @zzhomeboy1 11 лет назад

      no Straight arm, I was referring to my skill level, i can stand and do a pike to hand stand on the floor straight arm, but when I try to do an L-sit pike to handstand, I seem to have problem lifting my leg up. My butt is pretty much up in the air already, and when I'm in the handstand position, I couldn't lower myself back down to an L-sit whether i'm on the paralletes or on the floor. Hope I'm making sense.

    • @DanJeongg
      @DanJeongg  11 лет назад

      NicholasN. l-sit to pike handstand press is MUCH harder than regular pike press. And you need to work on the l-sit to straddle handstand press first. After you press up, focus on slow negatives

    운동을좋아하는 한고등학생입니다
    제가 몇일걷쳐서 이젠 머리 물구나무밀기까지는 가능하는데요!
    팔펴고물구나무밀기할땐 기울기까지하면서 스트래들자세로해도 안올라가네요...ㅜ
    어디가잘못됬는지...
    또한 물구나무 밀기연습과정 턱플란체,플랫 턱플란체도 할수있어야수월하다는데 정말인가요?

      +권재용 머리 물구나무 밀기랑 그냥 밀기랑은 난이도가 천지 차이입니다. 벽 기대서 하는 밀기 해보세요

      +Dan Jeong Conditioning 감사합니다ㅎ
      그런데..벽에붙어대고 앞에 책상같은높은물건올려 그위에 다리올리고 올랏다내려갔다하면서 차츰 어느정도되면 높이 더낮춰서 하는식도 도움될까요?

    연습할때 어깨를 손바다보다 앞에 두는데,. 저는 앞으로(머리쪽으로) 고꾸라질것같던데 이건 어떻게하면 좋을까요?

    • @DanJeongg
      @DanJeongg  9 лет назад

      어깨를 앞으로 뺀다는 생각 보다는 어깨를 바닥쪽으로 최대한 누르면서 다리를 든다고 생각 하면됩니다

    Is it necessary to have that flexibility to be able to reach the floor when bending down? I can't even touch my toes...

    • @DanJeongg
      @DanJeongg  9 лет назад +1

      Yeah you need a lot of flexibility

    • @84ND3R5N4TCH
      @84ND3R5N4TCH 9 лет назад

      +Gábor Zámborszky The less flexibility you have, the more you'll have to lean with your shoulders. Without adequate flexibility, you'll have to planche as you pass into handstand.

    댄형 동영상 항상 잘 보고 있습니다. 그런데 미국 올림픽대표 출신인 Dave Durante 의 물구나무밀기 영상( ruclips.net/video/fonaizSkOZY/видео.html ) 을 보면요 어깨를 손보다 앞으로 하는 게 오히려 동작을 planche press to handstand 로 만들어서 더 어렵게 한다고 하네요. 물론 더 어려운 동작도 하시는게 짱이긴 합니다만! 어떻게 생각하세요?
