As a Niners fan I want to like this stadium but I can't help thinking it was a missed opportunity. I prefer both the Rams and Raiders new stadiums. Lev's stadium looks better from the air but on ground level from the outside I think it doesn't look great.

I went on the weekend. I think it is only available Friday through Sunday.

Which seats would be under cover, for rainy games, for example?

Very few seats are actually covered. You would need to be standing in the concourse or in one of the suites.

Do you need a ticket to stand and watch the game in the middle?

Yes, you need a ticket to get anywhere in the stadium.

Honestly, I don’t want outdoor stadiums to die out. I get that a lot of people get beaten by the sun, but you know, wear a bucket hat or something. Silicon Valley is one of the better places to have an uncovered stadium anyway. I think it’s beautiful and incredible in the evening.

Agreed. I think it is important to keep outdoor stadiums. I do not like the trend of stadiums with a retractable roof that ends up always closed.
