For all of those sheep out there that won't do a repair like this because they were told it is unsafe, stop reading now, go throw away your expired canned goods, get your wallet out, proceed to the tire store, and buy a new tire like they told you. For the rest of those who can actually have an independent thought, here's why it works on this tire. This tire has no visible damage to the reinforcing "wires" in the sidewall and the technician uses extreme care to not cut into them. These are where the strength and safety come from. If those are cut, the tire definitely has potential to fail. If it's a highway tire, I wouldn't do it. If it's a utility tire on a tractor or off-road vehicle, something that moves fairly slow, you might as well try to get at much use out of the tire as you can and do a repair like this. A repair of the rubber like this or vulcanizing will be strong and keep the air in. If the "wires" are cut, the ends can grind on the rubber as the tire flexs and deteriorate the rubber from within, causing failure.
@@showwhite7320I have first hand experience when my side wall were repaired. I made a sharp turn and blew out a tire a few years ago. There's a reason why tire shops don't repair the sidewall of a tire.
This tire is a “no go”. This might be a “professional repair” but this tire would not go on my car. I certainly would not recommend this to others. Time for a new tire.
That is not the right way to repair a tire. That is because sidewalls and shoulder areas are not repairable. Only the tread areas of the tire can be repaired.
HARZOLE TRG-210 All Purpose Cushion Gum Width: 10“ (250mm), Thickness: 1/12" (2mm), Weight: 2 lbs. And you must use Vulcanizing Cement or your tire will blow up on the road.

Someone is going to die driving on freeway speeds. It's happened before. I had one with a tiny damaged sidewall, the shop replace it with a new one free of charge.
My car been sitting up for over 2 months had same tires on car over 3 years we have steal rocks in yard . All 4 tires have pin holes on sides inside soft wall not on tread why pin holes their not stabbed or nothing just pinholes

Never known of a proper sidewall tire repair
Now you do know. Tire manufacturers have lobbied legislators in USA to make it illegal so they can sell more tires.
First time i have seen this with the high tech equipment, where the guys arent in sandals with metal plates sandbags and propane burners 🤣🤣
Never would I repair a tire sidewall way too much pressure on the sidewall mainly if it’s a steer tire way to dangerous
When you take sharp turns, the repair is going to eventually rip. I would never put this on my car.
How do you know this? Are you guessing or do you have actual experience?

As per our local tire repair shop tire side wall can't be repaired because it's very dangerous
They also don't add new rubber and vulcanize said rubber to the tire carcase!

First you want to clean the area on the tire and wear gloves. Your skin has natural oil on it.
No, first you want to never repair a sidewall. 🙄
