I packed up my items 8 months later, drove 32 hours from Atlanta to LA with my 7 year old to be with her. We celebrated our anniversary on 12/23. One of the most positive, vulnerable, loyal relationships I've been in. Black girl happiness. Love to see it ❤

Oh wow! My girlfriend and I met on HER app...also clicked instantly...it was insane. I also packed up 8 months later...drove 2:30 hours from Maryland to Virginia...with my 11 year. And we all have been happy since! We also just celebrated our anniversary 12/23/2021. This has been the MOST adult relationship/friendship that I have ever been in. It's amazing. I think we all are on the same vibe! Love it❤️

I was in an extremely violent and toxic relationship for 7 years. I met my man two years ago and having someone love and treat you correctly after being done wrong for so long is such an eye opener. Sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve such a good man but I have to remind myself I deserve happiness too.

When you brought up glorifying toxic relationships I was like YES GIRL!!! I don’t understand how some of these girls laugh or find it funny to be “toxic” or like pissing off their significant others. I had a cousin who the guy she was talking to would basically stalk her and sit outside her house if she was mad at him and she would love that shit. I don’t get it!! If a dude or anyone was outside my house after I told them to leave best believe I’m calling the cops or I’m handling it. People need to grow up.
My husband and I will celebrate our 15 year anniversary this year. Get with your best friend. From the beginning my husband has always treated me like a queen, we have so much fun together and he has always made me feel like I am perfect just the way I am. I have never had to jump through hoops or hide parts of myself to make him comfortable. Relationships do take work, but never stay with someone who makes you feel like shit about yourself.

I can attest to this!! My love story started in 2018 we been through death of parents together. My sibling passed away we’re engaged now and wedding planning now. We even doing that together.
