Vulnavia came back in another incarnation, it was going to be revealed in the third movie that she is an ancient entity. And the movie is not nearly gross, very tame for today's standards, but it's a wonderful sequel to the first one.
@anton1990 Actually, there were 5 different ideas, from "The Son of Dr. Phibes" to "The Seven Fates of Dr. Phibes" to "Dr. Phibes Goes to the Holy Land". The most possible one was "The Seven Fates of Dr. Phibes", the title of which I believe inspired both "Saw" and "Se7en", which were both horrific and used a biblical theme in murder.
Recently a tall elderly gentleman was seen adjusting a waxen mask behind a corner and, subsequently, entering Downing Street nr. 10! Need more be said?
A drive-in and Saturday matinee classic. Vincent Price and Robert Quarry were fantastic as screen rivals, but apparently didn't get on too well in real life. Someone should make the third "Phibes" film someday, but finding a suitable actor to do Vincent Price could be a real challenge. He defies imitation. Robert Quarry went on to do the "Count Yorga" films, also great B classics, and very scary!
Watching these two movies, two of my alltime favorites, makes me wish so much more that "The seven fates of Dr. Phibes" was made.

Vincent Price was to horror what Peter Sellers was to comedy.

Reminds me of Frollo and Ramona Flowers killing Professor Quirrell in the screw press!

With the deaths of many people in my area from misdiagnosing I think this was a proper reprisal.
Where did that big fan come from.
