Peak F1 right there. You have to remember they introduced grooved tires to slow down the cars. That's how insane those monsters were. Near as makes no difference 1000hp and just 600kg... Absolute beasts.
@@unknowntl44 did you just describe a one-man vehicle, capable of accelerating to 100kph in around 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 320kph, generating a total downforce of 1,800kg which is equivalent to more than twice the car's actual weight....slow? I swear, people don't realise just how marvelous these machines are.
ERS would likely not result in a speed gain unless the track has a lot of straights, as it weighs a LOT (and would require the car to be larger to fit in the new parts, resulting in more drag), meaning there is significant timeloss in the corners. But a Halo for much better aero, DRS with the 2011 ruleset where you activate it wherever you please and removing traction control would significantly improve the speed.
bro i have all the respect for schumi, but should be barrichelo driving the car in this flying lap, for us Brazilians. barrichelo is very special, and he just born and lived most of his life here, in the district of interlagos in são paulo. Rubens is a legend for us 🇧🇷❤
It depends on how twisty the circuit is. On a fast circuit like Monza it's only 5 seconds (1'14 slicks vs 1'19 grooved). The difference is more pronounced on tracks like Spa, Hungary or Monaco.
it's still faster with the modern-day tyres and i love steric 2004 tv style
This is an absolute monster of a machinery. No wonder Ferrari were so shocked that the car was this fast even without slicks.

Tf you on about the 2004 ferrari made 940 hp at most
@@BlueNades1and it’s also 605 kg but none cares
The car is so light it's so good to watch
And sadly the actual cars are becaming bigger and slower, I'm wouldn't be surprised if F1 turn into a " Formula Truck " 😂
I are having stronk
Yeah by 2050 there just going to be semi trucks
It is already formula truck. 2022 cars are so clumsy and heavy and slow

@@corsac2007 So tell me in what point I'm wrong
It's such a shame we didn't get to see these cars with slicks racing
Now you need to make a vid of the 2020 Mercedes weighting 600 kg
Yeah only thing is I kinda need help with trying to adjust the weight in the data files I have no clue how to adjust that
@@Nekrews51 Oh ok. I'm sure you're gonna find someone being able to help you.
Yeah that's impossible
kinda easier to put slick tires on a car than it is to reduce its weight 200 kg
Please do a lap with F2004 on slicks + modern ERS and all other modern stuff.

Engine sound though🤤🤤

I would like to see this car with these tyres around jeddah...🤤
Do slick tyres really give a car 10 seconds compared to a stock F2004?
Seems a bit too excessive…
the grooved tires were so shitty that with slicks the car is 10 seconds faster
The tires were really bad
grooved tyres regs is to slow them down, to make it safer
I’m assuming these are slicks that are built like the modern tire compound.
Only thing that explains such a dramatic increase.

goddamn it sounds and look so fast
The sound is just 🥰
Aand without DRS
1:03, ga damn
When will you be doing updated versions of the real life onboard camera settings in f1-22?
Next week😎
Is there a traction control mod like the f2004 Ferarri I know that was standard back then but am curious to see how the w11 with TC and abs behaves
I'll have a look and if not i can maybe mod the files myself
@@Nekrews51 thanks I really hope it’s possible am very curious to see what happens
How about Austria? I think you will get easily under 1 minute
you used the wrong tire. *s u p e r s o f t s*
