I bought that the other day and I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I wasn't impressed. It smudges and flakes. I bought because I've watched so many recommending it.
You originally turned me onto the Essence mascara (and I was super turned off the brand after a liquid liner fiasco) and they’re some of my favorite waterproof mascaras now! I can actually get them off easily vs Lash Paradise waterproof which gives me amazing lashes but during corona is not worth the hassle to take it off. But ugh this mascara video is my new holy grail and I just added three new ones to my Ulta wish list. Thanks for feeding my mascara addiction :)

I'm so glad you mentioned the Telescopic....it's so good & another way I like to use it is layering it with another mascara like Loreal lash paradise for example. This is a great video. You should check out essence because they are so inexpensive and have ones geared to your preference and I have found they really work. Burt’s bees is a great one for being on the clean side. ❤️❤️❤️

Am I one of the very few who actually really likes cover girl mascara? The waterproof version. I see so much hype on the telescopic and I tried it (it was alright) but the cover girl one in the orange bottle makes my lashes look naturally long and up. I tried it after Alexis ren recommended it in an interview and I was obsessed with her at that time and I fell in love with the mascara.
I used to love that mascara so i decided to buy it again and i dont like the brush its to thick for me

Essence's What the Fake is also awesome imho, if you're ever considering trying it out go for it :)
My ultimate favourite mascara that I ALWAYS come back to, and beats every mascara I’ve used, high end and budget alike (with maaaaybe the exception being the Dior over curl one but she’s pricey) is L’Oréal Voluminous x5 mascara. I just adore it one my eyes (I have longish thick lashes, but there is no curl to them whatsoever and point straight down practically, and this is one of the few that actually gives me some lift that stays)

Any recommendations for mascara wands suited for lower lashes? I have fine and short ( barely there really) lashes and just want a bit of definition on my lower lashes. Cant seem to find one that can get close enough without getting goopy and smudgy.

Drugstore mascaras are great but I run into the problem of many of them not being cruelty free, unfortunately.

How do you take off waterproof mascara? Sometimes it's a struggle for me :(
If you can avoid using waterproof that’d be best as they’re really not good for your lashes and they’ll eventually start to drop out. However if you really prefer the waterproof mascara, I use to use cotton pads and either baby shampoo or facial cleansing oil. They’re gentler to use on your eyelashes ☺️
How about revitalash serum is it as good as grandelash?
I did use that one for almost a year exclusively. I did like that one too! xx

Even with waterproof formulas, my Asian lashes droop after a few hours, and also smudge with only skin. Agh still trying to find the holy grail, defining and lengthening mascara!
My tip would be to leave the mascara open for a little while, it will dry out the product a little bit just enough to hold a curl i also recommend using the waterproof lash paradise
I think the best long lasting one for me to hold a curl has been anything from L'oreal. For some reason their formulas are a little bit more long lasting for me!

I am fed up with buying mascaras and trying them because i want a cruelty free which not smudge under eyes at the end of the day!! Pls help me whiich one ??? I tried too faced, benefit. Both smudged!!
That Essence extreme mascara is the only beauty product I've ever purchased in my 10 years of wearing makeup, that I had to LITERALLY get rid off as soon as I bought it. As soon as you apply it it's clumpy, not separating, horrible on people with naturally short lashes like me. And don't even GET me started on removing this demon off of your lashes. I usually remove my makeup using a double cleanse method, and oils infused makeup removers are known to MELT off the makeup, but guess what, not even cleansing oils removed this mascara. The only thing that completely removes it is TIME. I have a friend who also tried this mascara and she said the same, she said it stayed on her lashes for 3 full days. So unless you're about to have incredibly rough sex, cry over a boy for an entire evening or stay in a SUPER windy climate, I would *NEVER* recommend using this mascara.
What lash serum does she use? Does anyone know?

I personally don't have any issues with any of these flaking. Occasionally, I notice smudging with the Maybelline falsies lift, but I just smooth it out with my fingers!

I have a problem with smudging even with waterproof mascara. (which suggests the oil in my face or make up is making my mascara break down).
I'm going to try putting clear mascara over the top. Not sure if it will help.

Half Filipino! I actually did one of those Gene tests and I also had a high percentage of Chinese! Also a lot of Spanish! Pretty cool - I honestly had no idea my mom had Chinese in her!

I never want to have "everyday mascara" or "clean definition". I want bold, fluttery, thick and long lashes even if it's 8am and I'm only wearing that and lipstick. My lashes without mascara already look natural and clean, so wearing mascara for me means they're visible from afar BUT without looking like spider legs either, yuck! 😂😂😂

@@leahfruchter1276 it used to be Accentuous by L'oreal. Everyone and their mother were asking me if I had falsies on. Haven't found anything like it so far, so this is my current remix:
Step 1. Primer. Essence or the one that comes in L'oreal Double Extend in the red & white tube.
Step 2. Essence Lash Princess for length and separation. The black tube with green letters.
Step 3. L'oreal Lash Paradise for volume.
Questions about false lashes are back.
The mascara in L'oreal Double Extend is too wet for my liking and can weigh down the curl but since it's a tubing mascara I apply it only on my lower lashes. Tubing mascaras don't smear.

Some people add Duraline (from Inglot) to their mascaras, others add eye drops... when it's too dry, too thick or clumpy. I hope it helps.
