Thanks!! I bought #toucbbeauty silicone heated eyelash curler! Absolutely love this! It's not very hot to touch and it gets the work done! Using a normal curler I always cut my skin so I hated the experience so much before. This is a big game changer! It's small and pretty and it fits in my makeup bag nicely! I charged it once when I got it. On a daily use frequency, it's been working for about two weeks now! Impressive!!! ☺☺☺
Also appreciate the side by side being both eyes instead of some reviewers do left vs right eye, I know when I do my lashes one side always looks better haha
Maybelline has ALWAYS been my favorite mascara! I’m using Maybelline Great Lash past five years. It’s on wet side, firm wand, perfect side bristle head, perfect defined bristles and you have total control in applying. It’s more natural looking which I prefer so not super volumized. It lasts all day as long as I cover upper lid in powder up to brow as you do -I have oily lids. Love it, not clumpy.
I love a less volume more length/ natural looking mascara and I just recently discovered one that works so well for me. Elf lash it loud in brown is one I’m definitely buying again. And I love all the affordable skin care/ hair care/ makeup videos…keep ‘em coming!

@@magpiesneedle2575 the elf one is very brown on the applicator but on the eyes for me at least leans dark. I think it just looks a bit more natural in a way without being just jet black lashes. And I have brown eyes and hair so jet black can work for me too. I’ve just found I like the brown :). Hope you like it I know mascara isn’t always a one size fits all
I love the l'oreal million lashes. I started using it again last year and it's so good, gives length, separates and keeps the curl and doesn't smudge . My sister asked was I wearing lash extentions and then went and bought the mascara. 👌😆
I have never found a drug store mascara that does anything for my lashes. They are so drying and normally need to be replaced every few weeks. Mascara is my pet peeve! Why not spend a little more and not have to replace it as often. I keep trying , but no luck yet. I’ve tried most all of these with no luck. Thanks for the comparison video Abbey. You have such beautiful lashes ! Youth does make a difference

My favourite mascaras are L'oreal Million Lashes serie, esp. butterfly effect, Paradise too, yet dries faster than Million Lashes. I like also Bourjois Twist serie, and Pupa Vamp! serie. Maybelline has good mascaras, but they dry fast, so after 2-3 weeks is better to buy new one. L'Oreal Million Lashes has similar formula, but last 3 times longer and do not crumble during a day.
Ooo I’m gonna have to get some of that Maybelinne mascara. I’ve been hooked on Essence Lash Princess waterproof since I first found it. I absolutely love Essence’s mascara. I need to branch out and give some others a try

Omg yay!! The maybelline colossal mascara has been my go-to for years. I never stray from her lol but i don't remember seeing any influencers talk about it, even on drugstore focused videos. Great surprise and happy you are enjoying it as well!
Cover girl lash blast volume and clump crusher extensions is what I've been using. Love it I've found if you tilt your head back and squint your eyes, and put mascara on that way, you can get to root of the lash easier

After watching the video, I purchased a few mascaras, Maybelline The Colossal and Revlon So Fierce. I thought, "what is all the fuss about?" After applying one coat of mascara, it was like I had bionic eyelashes! Impressive results. My husband noticed the difference - as an aside, he notices stuff like that, cute outfit, new hair-do - I appreciate that about him.

I've just used the Maybelline ones from the drugstore, as I generally prefer Benefit for mascaras. I do like Maybelline for both Mascaras and liquid eye liners though
My personal award for the driest mascara would have to belong to L'Oreal Lash Paradise. Gosh I love that stuff - there's nothing it doesn't do well. But every single tube, let me clarify, every.single.tube dried out in less than 3 weeks. I thought it was me, hence the reason I bought multiple tubes! Then I actually bought a few more and gave them to coworkers to see if they mentioned anything. Yep, they all liked the mascara but said that it dried out too fast. Now, my current fave is the L'Oreal Age Perfect Waterproof mascara. An awesome tubing mascara that wears like iron and removes easily with warm water. So, SO good. Great video as usual. One of my all-time favorite drugstore mascaras is the Maybelline rocket mascara. But anyone who's ever worn it knows that it is nearly impossible to take off. Your least liked is my GO-TO!!!! Has been for YEARS!!! I also like a wetter formula. I find it lasts longer and doesn't flake. Obviously I need to get out of my box and try something new! I will be making some new purchases soon!
The mascara that totally became an unexpected favorite for me is maybeline the falsies lash lift. It is also perfect for the lower lashes achieving that doll effect. The essence i🖤extreme crazy volume is my favorite of all time and for some reason the formula isnt dry over here, could be our weather? I tried the waterproof version and that was way to wet for my taste so i had to give that tube some time to dry up before i loved it🤣 in your part 1, you tried the essence lash princess false lash effect. I have both in green and blue (waterproof) and unfortunately, i couldnt tell if this was clumping or separating - it takes a lot of strokes (not coats) to actually achieve the desired result which could be clumping one stroke then separating the next. The major setback for me is that even before i come home from work, the product falls off in small particles that get inside my eyes. I dont even have the habit to touch my eyes or my face. I may have had an old product, essence is not as fast selling here versus maybelline. It may be different for everyone, i tried 2 famous mascaras that never worked for me at all: loreal lash paradise and maybelline skyhigh - no striking effects for me and too clumpy. My wild card is the flormar triple effect mascara. You can twist it to achieve a longer brush or a tight volumizing effect. A friend told me it smudges on her though because she has an oily lid. I dont have the same experience, im ok using it even if i would sweat all day. So maybe it really is an individual preference..... ❤️
If you have a super dry mascara, I would recommend just adding around 5 drops of contact lenses solution and then it performs like it's brand new! Now I can use my mascara until it's actually out of product and doesn't irritate my eyes, because obviously contact lenses solution is meant to go inside your eyes. Hope this helps! 😊
Little tip when applying mascara back comb the lash when applying like you would your hair kinda wiggle it at the base of the lash the pull up it helps so much xx a very famous makeup artist said he does this

I have the same issue where my left eye clumps way more. Watching your footage it looks like when you apply the left eye you are angling the wand upwards toward the inner corner and dragging towards the outer eye as you run it through the lashes. This is pulling the lashes on the inside over toward the outside and clumping them to the lashes beside them. I realize I am doing this as well so I’m going to focus on keeping the wand more horizontal and that should help. Thanks for this. My holy grail was the original Bambi eye but in the last couple months I’ve been finding it flakes and smudges and I don’t like it that much. I have been enjoying the Sephora Collection Big by Definition. I got it as a sample at first and had to buy the full size.
The Covergirl Lash Clump Crusher was my favorite for as long as I can remember simply because it separates my lashes so much better than any marscara I’ve tried thus far but I pair it with Rollerlash from Benefit for volume and length 👌🏽
I've used Clump crusher, Essence I love extreme and Lash Sensational and thought they were pretty good but just bought the Colossal Big Shot and I ❤️❤️❤️it!
New viewer here, Great analysis and content! Super organized and packed with information. One thing I've noticed (and I don't care for) about changes to the mascara tubes is the introduction of tapered/oversized wand handles. The designers may not realize it, but as I've gotten older (I'm 55 y.o.), that design is difficult to hold, especially if the user has arthritis. I really wish Loreal would bring back their Lash Out mascara. It was my HG for 25 years. Didn't smudge in the FL heat & humidity, didn't clump, built volume and length beautifully. And, it was cheap as chips.
L'oreal owns Maybelline and other drugstore and high end cosmetics. How many mascara's on the market all claim they do the same thing, Lol I agree the L'oreal Lash out mascara was a favorite too, then I tried the Maybelline One by One... the wand was perfect. My favorite mascara now is the Essence Lash Princess Sculpted volume mascara , the wand is slightly curved. This mascara has been my favorite for 5 years 💕

I haven't tried the Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume, I'll give that a try! My lashes are pretty long (they touch my glasses, a problem that isn't really a problem...) but at 55, I need volume!
I mean I want to tell you thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for making these types of videos especially on mascara. I'm extremely picky about the consistency and brushes on my mascara. And I don't like excess volume cuz I have small hooded eyes. And I have to concentrate on opening my eyes. If you’re looking for a good waterproof mascara, I definitely recommend Maybelline Skyhigh mascara, you can normally get it at any drugstore, however I always have a hard time getting it off with regular micellar water, but if you have one that contains oil it’s a lot easier to get off!

I used to use the Loreal Telescopic professionally, and cut the wand head off, so as to not contaminate it. I'd use a throw away wand. I also would back it up with a coat of the Loreal Voluminous.

You say the exact same thing about each mascara. "Too bendy"... "too dry"... "wish it was more wet".
I've used Clump crusher, Essence I love extreme and Lash Sensational and thought they were pretty good but just bought the Colossal Big Shot and I ❤️❤️❤️it!

New viewer here, Great analysis and content! Super organized and packed with information. One thing I've noticed (and I don't care for) about changes to the mascara tubes is the introduction of tapered/oversized wand handles. The designers may not realize it, but as I've gotten older (I'm 55 y.o.), that design is difficult to hold, especially if the user has arthritis.
I really wish Loreal would bring back their Lash Out mascara. It was my HG for 25 years. Didn't smudge in the FL heat & humidity, didn't clump, built volume and length beautifully. And, it was cheap as chips.
L'oreal owns Maybelline and other drugstore and high end cosmetics. How many mascara's on the market all claim they do the same thing, Lol I agree the L'oreal Lash out mascara was a favorite too, then I tried the Maybelline One by One... the wand was perfect. My favorite mascara now is the Essence Lash Princess Sculpted volume mascara , the wand is slightly curved. This mascara has been my favorite for 5 years 💕
@@champagenroses Thanks for the mention, I had no idea! Another favorite is Loreal Lash Paradise, it's so durable and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.
I haven't tried the Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume, I'll give that a try! My lashes are pretty long (they touch my glasses, a problem that isn't really a problem...) but at 55, I need volume!

I mean I want to tell you thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for making these types of videos especially on mascara. I'm extremely picky about the consistency and brushes on my mascara. And I don't like excess volume cuz I have small hooded eyes. And I have to concentrate on opening my eyes. Please continue to make these videos cuz I enjoy watching them very much.

Do any of these mascaras have a waterproof formula? Can you please do a review specifically for waterproof mascara and eyeliners.
If you’re looking for a good waterproof mascara, I definitely recommend Maybelline Skyhigh mascara, you can normally get it at any drugstore, however I always have a hard time getting it off with regular micellar water, but if you have one that contains oil it’s a lot easier to get off!
The original Mabelline mascara in the green and pink tube is still my favorite. Been using it since high school, and I'm not 50.

The telescopic mascara my wand broke and wouldn’t go back in the bottle since it is a skinner wand ! It’s good for getting in the corner of a you’re eyes !

Loreal ultimate mascara is my favorite
I used to use the Loreal Telescopic professionally, and cut the wand head off, so as to not contaminate it. I'd use a throw away wand. I also would back it up with a coat of the Loreal Voluminous.
