Love your content dude, always good quality videos and you present info really well! But one note: RICE as a recovery protocol has been abandoned for a very long time now, with the the very same man that first proposed it saying that Ice should not be used as it has shown to delay recovery. The PEACE and LOVE protocol has been the most up to date proposal in recovery literature that also looks to include optimal loading as part of the recovery

So I've been climbing occasionally for a year or two now but I've just started getting into it properly and have been going at least twice a week. My left middle finger now hurts and my right elbow. Really happy I have just stubbled across your channel. This is the second video of yours I've watched. Really helpful information. Thanks so much, really like your style! Keep it coming 🙃
    Edit:
Even though it's totally true I don't wanna follow Rule No.5 and call you dude until it's too awkward to ask your name 😂
    What's your name dude?

I'm always surprised about the lack of information regarding strains in the collateral ligaments of the fingers as it's one of the most common climbing injuries according to medical research. I had one on February that is still not at 100% and it's "a pain in the finger" 🥲

Id say strains are pretty common but the advice is always almost the same for it. Id only rest it if it was an acute injury, but strengthening it with hangboarding is probably the most important part
