About 6 years ago I began my journey to trade my blonde highlights for my natural platinum.😉 Why pay for highlights as when I already have them for free?😄My husband encouraged me as well. I exercise regularly and eat healthy as a rule but I’m going to enjoy a party like your “Naughty Nancy” aunt! Most importantly I’m still growing as a person-a spirit having a human existence-and learning new things. I try not to dwell on the fact that there’s more behind me than before me but time FLIES and we are only guaranteed the now moments we are in so we older ladies especially need to be grateful for the privilege for having gotten this far and live each moment the best that we can with gratitude. We are setting the example for our daughters and granddaughters. She would travel from Brooksville, Fl to Southwest Georgia to visit my mom. My aunt drove up and down I-75 until 89. Her security tip for older women driving alone; she purchased a life size ceramic Doberman Pincher dog, belted it in the front passenger seat and a full size blow up doll strapped in the back seat. Her comments when all of her nieces were dying in laughter, think about going 80 miles an hour up the highway and the person glances over at me all they see is the dog and no body would dare approach me!! Keep driving Eve!!

I do work out 3 days a week and I am an active quilter. I had a medical test and when I was called I didn’t answer but the lady who checked me in called my name. When we were in the exam room she told me she didn’t see an 80 year old women and I didn’t fit ! I really don’t know what you are supposed to look like when you are 80 but it seems I don’t fit. I love makeup but I see women around me who are younger but don’t wear any makeup not even blush or lipstick and I think it makes a huge difference in the way we look. Happy Birthday 🎈! Thanks 😊

My mother passed at 56, and each year after I turned that age is what I call myself a"bonus year" 😊 (I am going to be 63 in two weeks...)

On top of everything my glasses magnify my skin. I am glad to have found that I can be beautiful despite aging. I am 66 and loving it....❤️

I do work out 3 days a week and I am an active quilter. I had a medical test and when I was called I didn’t answer but the lady who checked me in called my name. When we were in the exam room she told me she didn’t see an 80 year old women and I didn’t fit ! I really don’t know what you are supposed to look like when you are 80 but it seems I don’t fit. I love makeup but I see women around me who are younger but don’t wear any makeup not even blush or lipstick and I think it makes a huge difference in the way we look. Happy Birthday 🎈! Thanks 😊
