Thank you Shnobel and Andy for doing this! I’ve been watching PGS videos for years and I always wondered what kind of set up they were working with. The quality of the demos have always been a cut above the rest IMHO and to see the room and the equipment they use to make these videos was so interesting. Andy is just so talented not just on guitar and as a musician but also in how he is able to coax the best sounds out of nearly any pedal. Thanks again, this was incredible.
Thank you Roman and Andy, this is what we've all been waiting for. I cant believe how long I've been watching Andy's demos, he's become a legend of the video demo scene!
Andy, you need to do your own thing. Not just demos, but you could do favorite riffs, lessons, show us your Dad's shop, all that stuff. You're an interesting guy, which RUclips needs more of.
My boi Andy! Really, one of my all time favorite Pedal demoers! Really awesome and nice and tight set up hes got here! Pretty awesome! Keep on doing what you do Andy! Will keep on watchin! You've personally been one of my Inspirations - Also love your Black Keys sounds like video!
Andy, not only are your demo's great, but your an AWESOME player as well and that take what you are presenting to a whole another level. Been watching your for years and will continue watching you. Thanks for your commitment!!
Seeing this a day after seeing the Disaster Artist makes me feel like I've been given inside knowledge of all the best and worst secrets of the world. Also makes me want to work on some projects! Andy's always been great for inspiration. Gotta find me some of those awkward midi tracks...
He is such a Pro. I could listen to Andy Martin, Pete Thorn, Dan & Mick / That Pedal Show or Brett Kingman - All Day, Any Day "Everyday" = Always a Great Learning Experience. - Michael Caz - NYC -
I'm so glad he brought out that black G&L with the matching headstock. I feel like he uses that one in a bunch of videos I've seen over the years. You know, G&L should make that the Andy signature model. I bet they would sell a ton of them.
Awesome video. Andy is one of my favourite demo guys. He pretty much always plays songs I like and has given me GAS for so many pieces of gear (particularly noteworthy are his Catalinbread demos). Really cool to see an interview/behind the scenes video with him.
Dang i been waiting and happily got the videos for Andys setup And not from reverb....hhhmmm Andy we all love your stuff and want to see more more more!!!!
Would be great if he could bring a bit of that to his videos. Much as I love his demos they can end up sounding too much like the are scripted marketing pieces (which they are obviously but......)
Andy, if you ever read this, and regarding tuning stability on 3x3 headstock guitars with extreme angle after the nut on the D and G strings, check out the String Butler. No more string binding, no more going out of tune. They even have a shop on Reverb :-)
andy is great schnobel you couldnt get that big muff in there anywhere just kidding your one of the greats to honest tone demos that help! people say that you cant tell what a pedal sounds like over the utube but even live shows will be run through a pa system so it will always be converted to some kind of pa unless your alone in your bedroom with your amp although i have put on a lot of smaller shows with pa only on vocals still not as easy as it sounds and 90% of all shows have some kind of pa miching the band just saw a lot of comments about the conversion ive watched enough demos and bought enough pedals to say its not bad thats why you watch as many demos as you can then add it up considering wich amp guitar and so on that is why schnobells camparing a lot of pedals to the muff is cool good frame of refrence thanks guys keep up the good work
What is Andy's blue guitar??? I can't quite read the headstock and I haven't found an interview where he covers it. Sorry if this is common community knowledge; I recently found Tone Report.
Andy's cool he as an unassuming attitude he's not condescending he's a great communicater I have seen too many guitar videos with some pompus arrogant hipster
I think it’s the Club King by Reverend. I really want one. There like $900-$1100 which isn’t too bad. Reverend makes quality guitars and I’m pretty sure they make all their own pick-ups as well.
Nah thats Windows 7 with the Classic theme on it. I doubt his computer couldn't run the transparent theme, because it's got to have some power behind it to run Vegas, so he probably doesn't care for the fancy theme or just prefers the OS to run with as few system resources going to visual frills.
This is a historical video in the realm of gear demos. Thx Roman!
Love this man, he seems so true and honest and humble , we need more like him 🍻
Thank you Shnobel and Andy for doing this! I’ve been watching PGS videos for years and I always wondered what kind of set up they were working with. He looks so nervous. Doesn't he know he's a fuckn legend? :D
Thank you Roman and Andy, this is what we've all been waiting for. I cant believe how long I've been watching Andy's demos, he's become a legend of the video demo scene!
Andy, you are an internet legend. Rock on! lml
The secret to Andys tone is behind the black curtain!
Been listening to Andy for years.
Nice to see him behind the scenes.
holy shit, ive been waiting for this forever!
SAME
Thanks - you just answered all the questions I never dared to ask.
Your work has been, and will be appreciated andy !
Very cool, Roman-thanks for doing this with Andy.

well this was just lovely. thanks for taking the time to share it!
Thanks Roman! And Andy for all the demos of stuff I never buy but love the playing and seeing what he tones gets out of it!
Great stuff Andy ! Keep that great guitar from your dad ! That's an awesome gift !
He is such a Pro. I could listen to Andy Martin, Pete Thorn, Dan & Mick / That Pedal Show or Brett Kingman - All Day, Any Day "Everyday" = Always a Great Learning Experience. - Michael Caz - NYC -
Been waiting for this one for a while. Thanks.

This is amazing, thanks so much! Now, I love Andy even more! Such a cool dude! :)
Respect . Keep up the work and I like the inside look .more please.
Dang i been waiting and happily got the videos for Andys setup
And not from reverb....hhhmmm
Andy we all love your stuff and want to see more more more!!!!
It's so weird hearing him in a conversational tone.
First thing that came to my mind.. scrolled down to see if someone said the same thing. yep!
Would be great if he could bring a bit of that to his videos. Much as I love his demos they can end up sounding too much like the are scripted marketing pieces (which they are obviously but......)
He seems very humbled.
But still the classic dulcet tones of Andy.
Music Therapy Laz . . . Hell Yeah. I Agree with you 100%. Id Love to see / hear it.
Who the hell doesnt like this dude? Seems down to Earth
Andy! Giving some Canadian amp love with the Traynor! Awesome!
they are well known by people who know well , and they can be had cheap , so sshhhh
Really enjoyed this
Andy, if you ever read this, and regarding tuning stability on 3x3 headstock guitars with extreme angle after the nut

@12:00 Ibanez Roadstar II Bass! Such a great bass
This is awesome. Thanks!
What's the blue/green hollowbody he's holding while showing the studio!? With the white "R" logo?
Andy you really should check out toontrack’s eazydrummer. It sounds very good and has all the midi grooves and variations you would want inside!
Super cool dude!
That was great . . . a peek behind the scenes. Do Bill Ruppert next. :)
Andy you're pre flipping kool man
Hey it's Andy with pro guitar shop dot com
cbappa2
Loving that profile pic hauss
What is Andy's blue guitar??? I can't quite read the headstock and I haven't found an interview where he covers it.
Sorry if this is common community knowledge; I recently found Tone Report.
Reverend Guitars
Thank’s Andy!
I owe you a Grand Andy
Hey Andy! Thanks for all the great videos. Just wanted to point out that your Traynor is a YGL-3 Mark 3A not the YGM Guitar-mate. It's a great amp.
Correction: It's the Traynor YGL-3A Mark 3.
Davin Kuntze you are correct. Awesome tone too.
Good video, very good actually. Lots of ideas there.
I fucking love Andy
What’s the name of the blue guitar he’s holding?
Love me some Andy
that warble on Andy's voice is so trippy...
Hagstrom!!! Love it!
Hope to see more shnobel and Andy vids from Namm 2018
Thanks Andy
Yeah I could see the issue with using that raw lol. I wish I had more thumbs up for this vid. Thanks guys!!!
Great video Roman :)
Can someone identify all of Andy's guitar that are shown on this video? Thanks in advanced!
Is PGS/Reverb using a PC with an unlicensed version of Windows? Hahaha! Is that why the bottom right corner is blocked out?
Very cool!
Does he write ANDY in permanent ink underneath all his own gear?
Andy's cool he as an unassuming attitude he's not condescending he's a great communicater I have seen too many guitar videos with some pompus arrogant hipster
And behind the curtain is Mike Hermans...Andy’s been the Milli Vanilli of Guitar demos all these years, ironically because of his great voice😆
What is this green Bass? Plz
This gear review was pretty awesome. Now if someone could teach me Andy's technique of just using his fingers on them strings!
What color is that les Paul?
Awesome Andy! Do some more Guitar Lessons! Do a MC5 Lesson bro!
Andy/Roman... you didn't mention that Infinite Jets.
What happened to the shop?
If you're loving the Andy summers vibe get hold of a LongAmp Roxanne through reverb.
SWEET !
What is that blue guitar with them P90 pickup in the demo room?
Jrm Her it’s a reverend
I think it’s the Club King by Reverend. I really want one. There like $900-$1100 which isn’t too bad. Reverend makes quality guitars and I’m pretty sure they make all their own pick-ups as well.
Andy !❤🍷🍷👍
Reverb needs to hire Roknfnroll !!
Why would someone "dislike" this? Jealous much?
@15:00 Damn, is Andy using windows 98??? lmao
thousands of dollars of guitars and amps but cant upgrade his computer.
Nah thats Windows 7 with the Classic theme on it. I doubt his computer couldn't run the transparent theme, because it's got to have some power behind it to run Vegas, so he probably doesn't care for the fancy theme or just prefers the OS to run with as few system resources going to visual frills.
Is it all Andy's stuff too? Seems like someone else could easily be responsible.
David Perez if it works it works
Well, its clear that all is about the person, not the tool :)
Goat!
sos un capo chabon
That led video flicker... uhg...
G&Ls are the best strat-style instruments around.
do you know the model around 11:40? thank you in advance
So weird hearing is voice through a different mic.
Today I learned that your name is Roman. I will cease referring to you as “Dr. Shnobel”
@10:29 Andy's Sexdrive is mainly off.
Samuel Golightly
Great pun boss
Now of Reverb.com, not PGS...
@big Johnnybabyboy, I know Andy is cool, but cmon..get a room.
