This was suprisingly harder than i thought, balancing. Probably cuz ur foot needs to move, to readjust more often. Total time to ride at around 8 mph: 90 minutes. Now the ripstik. Easier than i expected. The waving motion seems complicated, yet what i realized was that their wasnt much body movement, u literally rock ur legs back and forth. Also, balance is easier. One advantage of the ripstik is for older fellows though. U dont need to lift ur legs off, reducing injury and still exercising yourself. Total time, 50 minutes. Also a good thing to add for the ripstik is for younger kids, as they are cheaper and easier.

Fun is subjective. As someone who had fun as a kid on a RipStik and went on to learn how to skateboard, I find skateboarding to be harder and also more fun. Do whatever you want though, who gives a shit if you look goofy. People think skaters look goofy too. Just don't give a shit about other peoples negative opinions and do whatever is fun for you. Just make sure that if you're at a skatepark that you show proper etiquette and don't cut people off. If you're not on a skateboard, people are going to be quicker to get pissed at you for snaking them or hogging and blocking obstacles.
