- Google Analytics is deleting our historical data. Here's a full walkthrough of how to save it.
On July 1, Google is removing access to Universal Analytics ("old Google Analytics").
This effectively means our old data will be inaccessible moving forward.
I spent a few hours earlier this week exporting our Wired Impact data. And I documented the process as well as the reports I found most helpful.
Here are the top 7 reports I'd recommend you export (and the ones we primarily focus on in the video):
1. Behavior -- Site Content -- All Pages
2. Behavior -- Site Content -- Landing Pages
3. Behavior -- Site Content -- Exit Pages
4. Acquisition -- All Traffic -- Channels
5. Audience -- Behavior -- New vs. Returning
6. Audience -- Mobile -- Overview
7. Audience -- Geo -- Location
Hope you find this helpful.

And if you you found this helpful, please give it a like or give us follow. Both make it a lot easier for other nonprofits to find tips like these in the future.
Awesome breakdown. Very helpful
So glad to hear it came in handy!
This was incredibly helpful, I had no idea where to start and I was able to follow this and get all the reports as I watched!
So glad to hear it helped @marjoriemoore6110!
Brilliant! Thank you so much.
You're very welcome! Glad to hear it helped.
Thanks for this. Sad to have to do this :(
Just went through my UA account and created a bunch of exports.
Any tips for exporting annotations? - Looks like these may have been deleted already.
You're welcome. And right there with you on still being sad about the switch from UA to GA4.
Sorry to say I think old annotations are gone at this point. At least they are from the accounts we have access to.
