A nice interlude during the huge dump of snow we are getting. I shovelled till i had a coronary - grabbed prerequisite tea - and tuned in. I'll consider a "Support" option from you in regards to a fixture plate (to hold a pair of low profile Mod Vice from Saunders Machine Works) that is underway. The worst of it is feeds and speeds in metric, on a 2.2kW spindle that is happier above 12,000rpm. Peck drilling, single point thread milling, and reaming amongst others. Grey areas are the stuff of nightmares. Resolution makes for good sleep.
Dang man, just getting into Cnc”n and the way you explain things click with me, you are very organized in delivery, time to binge watch these videos tonight! Good job!
Awesome, thanks Kevin, I’m looking forward to seeing these video series. Just need to do a metric drawing for the rest of the world 😁😉 I’ll look at the training as well.
What is this "metric" you speak of. There are two types of countries in the world. Those with their flag on the moon, and those without :D (and I don't want to hear any of this they used metric business)
@MechanicalAdvantage just a quick fyi Kevin, but I've just downloaded the pdf from the link above, and there a quite a few dimensions missing. Any chance you can share your fully dimensioned drawing?
I changed the link in the description. It now takes you to the summary page for the project where there is a download assets link. The drawing I used will be in that download.
Hi Robert. Out in the garage changing the compressor switch. When did you send an email? I was in training classes last week, but I don't recall sending it. I'll have a look for it in a bit when I get this switch changed out.

By the way. I saw your email. Look for a reply from me later this evening.
Thanks Kevin for the insights. Subscribed to the series.

OK sounds good. I also offer online training classes where we cover everything from 2D to 3D from start to finish.
Saturday can not get here fast enough!
Sorry for the compressor issue. The new part is here and hopefully tomorrow evening or Thursday morning I'll have the video published.
Picked a few tips - joint/ground and holes in drawings pick up thread info. New to me, look forward to upcoming videos. Thanks from Colorado.
Hi Craig. That is what I am hoping to hear. Hello from the plains of Minnesota :)

Hi Larry. Thanks for the comment.
Awesome! Soup to nuts with no wasted motion in-between. Excellent format for a series.
Thank you. Will you be playing along at home? Let me know how it goes if you do.
@@MechanicalAdvantage Thank YOU! Currently building a CNC mill. I saved this video and will be referring back (soon hopefully 😄).
