Anyone who has hard time clearing this with a decent team, use ifrit to hit both lanes and drop 2 defenders (above and below Parfumer) this will take care of everything. Use Surtyr for chunky mobs on her respawn cooldown and that is it.
In case you are gonna use Cliffheart instead of Rope and trying to get the medal (like me lmao) don't wait for the archer at 5:18 to move to the next block and do It ASAP, Rope's second skill has +1 range, while Cliffheart expands both sides, so you can't grab the archer if you wait because is too far away and they are gonna break both machines. (Of course, if you can kill him faster this doesn't matter for you, but maybe It does for someone else who upgraded Cliff because she is free and can't E1 Rope/doesn't want to just for this/doesn't have her)

Agreed. To anyone seeing this now, I moved Cliffheart forward one square and put shirayuki behind her instead of a sniper in front. It worked, but the timing was off a lot so no medal.

@@s.c6190 Then just get an Eyja. I've played Arknights from the release date without missing a single day and I own every character in the game, and I'm not even a whale. Just roll on the banners you want and keep grinding those orirocks.

Great Strategy. This helped me quite a bit.
Tips of my own: Thorns S3 is actually a bad replacement for Midnight in this strategy, because it won't be charged in time. SilverAsh S3 on the other hand is ideal since it can take out those archers in record time.
Courier can also be replaced with Myrtle or Elysium, as long as you put down your defender first :)
As for Mousse, Surtr is a great replacement if you have her. Just wait until the boss is the last one left and proc twilight on him.

if you have thorns he can use the s3 to clean out the center area better then koos. i have a high tier squad and used ifrit to cover bottom lane and had enough time to set up the boss delay.
I had Whisperain with Nearl for the Boss stall. He was pretty much stuck there in the corner as Whisperain's reduce stun effect meant that Nearl got back up much earlier. The downside was the long wait at the end for the boss to lose his first health bar even with Click's help.
I ve done this without Kyo's help. But i m here cus i wanna see how dumb my brain is when this stage can be solved with Low end squad when my dumb butt cant handle it with a High End one.

I'm just here because I don't want to waste my limited practice supply on this stage. I've only resorted to guides for MB-EX-7 (because I'll never figure out ideal solutions to box levels myself) and MB-EX-8 (because medal).
When you use a full 6* and 5* (plus myrtle) squad and barely kept 3 lights alive while kyostinv kept all 4......
Last day of the event. A couple things I changed (since we usually have access to better units) to make this safer: replace Midnight with Silverash and just S3 the first guy to death - as a bonus he kills the two archers as well. Use Ifrit in the spots where Click is and bring a defender support unit so you don't need to worry about the redeployment time - the top lane units don't die very quickly so deployment points aren't an issue. Using Myrtle or Elysium is preferable just to get more of a boost at the beginning. Finally, I replaced Kroos with Platinum S2 and basically cut down on the number of enemies I need to worry about from the center in half.
but how about Jeston? I stall him with Mousse but somehow he always slipped and penetrate my perimeter before I finish other enemies...
@@dimdimbramantyo7666 I personally used Saria to block him. Other commenters have mentioned checking your settings or using Whisperain to reduce stun time
@@darkshard45 BRUH I didn't even realize Whisperain gives status resistance. I already complete it, the only problem is stun panel timing, which is very critical so Jeston can't slip out. Btw thx for the info, cheers
Even if the medal did not ask for it, keeping all 4 devices alive makes the level easier.
Around 05:45, low end squad may not be able to take down the big prisoner in time and allow him to free everyone.
Also around 05:45, high end squad could kill Jeston too fast and free all prisoners when he activates second form.
The devices are very useful to imprison everyone again.
Yeah, keeping all 4 devices definitely make the stage easy. But its also quite hard to keep all 4 devices

Spent more than 2 hours just to clear this stage because I don't have a friend with Eyja S3. Now my only problem is the damn challenge mode of this stage.
I made the mistake of taking Cliffheart S2 here instead of rope, forgetting that she only extends to 3 tiles instead of 4....time to build Rope.

EDIT : I wonder if we can just use Hellagur S3 or Surtr S3 to kill the lower archer instead of using puller to beat him up. Or perhaps SA facing up while S3 could also handle both archers, must test first

CRAP this reminded me that I forgot to trim that medal when I ran it... Somehow I completely forgot about the trimming requirement...
What is the requirement?
@@ANG3L0021 3 stun devices most be alive - for trim medal version... otherwise 2 (Basically almost the same requirement as MB-8)

For those who can't be bothered to use pullers, you can use blue poison s1 as your sniper. She can take out the archers without needing a puller

Try using Surtr and Skadi

Tip : you cant use any puller because you need Rope's extra range on S2
i figured it out using Cliff: try pulling them the moment they spawn, her wide range makes it that she could pull both of them at once

@@boult1487 It makes the level easier too at 6:25, when the first 2 brawlers spawn, you use the 2 stuns (the solar pannels) to keep them in place so that eyajaflla hits them, and when the next 2 brawlers spawns (around 6:30) you use cliff pull the moment they spawn, that way, you can kill all of those 4 brawlers, leaving only 2 of them instead of 4, one for each lane to be killed when they come (around 7:03)

I learned my lesson a few events ago, these ex 8 stages get one try and thats it. Im not waisting the time trying this 30 fucking times to finnaly get it becuse some random little detail 5 enemies ends change show the whole run goes. i fucking hate these stages and i salute kystino for clearing them the way he does

Cliffheart's s2 range is shorter than rope's. that's why it doesn't work

If around 4:52 you use the top sollar pannel to stun the big guy, he should be out of cliffheart range when the 2 snipers spawns (then use immediately cliffheart skill). Then you just put courier there instead of gravel (as courier has block 2), and the big guy will just pass through courier and attack midnight, and you will have dealt with both archers.

It made it easier for me as it removes a lot of pressure from that last wave, as you only need to clear the 2 brawlers instead of 4

if you do like I did and kill all bottom you can do the same on top spawns if you can which is easy for a tank e1 max lvl or e2, with a perfumer e2 (I recommend as a f2p).

It wasn't very explicit, but it's explained in the tutorial stage after the very first stage.

I started the day before yesterday. It's neat, decently generous economy, nice units, art and skills with decent tracks. It's nigh pure RNG every stage though but that keeps it from getting stale I suppose. IMHO, it's heavily influenced by AK, from the Colossus' layout similar to the base with furniture and mood level, idle chat on the home screen and when your selectable operator is tapped, the support unit function, similar story telling style with notably more flair and more but it's distinct enough to be something of its own and enjoyable in its own right once you find your comfortable combination of units.
