Robb Stark, The Young Wolf, The King in the North, The King who lost the North, Eldest son of Lord Eddard Stark. The boy who never lost on the battlefield, and was murdered at the Red Wedding because he chose love over duty. I just know there are many sonnets and songs that were sung about this Romantic Tragedy of a hero for hundreds of years after his death.
My only obsession with this show is the thought of Robb/Dany...two rulers chosen by their people, who just wanted to go home, who cared about the little people, who did so much with so little. God can you imagine what they could have accomplished together?
Its all the more heartbreaking when you remember that Robb only lost because all the incompetance surrounding him. His mother setting Jaime free, Edmure cocking up and letting The Mountain escape, Karstark murdering those boys. Oh, not murder, VENGEANCE.
Edmure cost him the war by delaying Tywin falling into Robb’s trap and also giving Tywin enough time to hear of Stannis attacking King’s Landing, where he made an alliance with the Tyrell’s and defeated Stannis
@robertoughton61 It wouldn't have mattered because if Robb beat Tywin when the trap was ready instead of Edmure preventing it then Walder Frey never would've carried out the Red Wedding
@Robert Oughton Frey's were trash, he didn't need them. He lost bc Cat released Jaimie, and that concluded in betrayal from Karstarks, that's why he needed more men from Frey's. Cat and Endmure ruined his plans, stupid Tully's.
I know Stannis is the true king by law, but I couldnt help but love Robb too..The 2 warriors I was emotionally split between in the show, Robb and Stannis. I think Robb wouldve made peace with Stannis once he saw evidence that Joffree wasa fraud. Robb was a one of those nice older brothers, and a good son. When it was crunch time, he rose up like an alpha and lead the wolves so close to victory....so close.
If only he brought Grey Wind into the hall with him in the books and show. R.I.P Grey wind, Cat, The young wolf, Robb Stark, the true king in the North.
He shouldve married the Frey girl, after the war is over, dump her body in a river somewhere and blame it on any House which pose a threat, then crush them. Then go and marry that nurse woman. But thats just wishfull fairytale thinking lol
@@winterman8248 Not a bad idea for someone with intrigue like Littlefinger but for Robb? Nah. However, what he could have done is kept Talisa as a mistress like many lords already did. Or perhaps the Frey girl would've died from disease or something or there's the possibility he would've ended up liking her like Edmure ended up liking her.
Robb's campaign was a lost cause the moment House Tyrell joined House Lannister. Houses Frey and Karstark wouldn't have done much against The Rose Army of 80,000.
@@gfilmer7150 I have strong doubts the Tyrells would have actually sent their armies north. The Reach has a recurring theme of doing the absolute bare minimum in wars, which is why they have the largest army in the Seven Kingdoms.

He was just a boy. A King nonetheless but a boy, and he made the mistakes of a boy. He made the tragic mistake of being one of the few men of honor. The tragedy of refusing to play the Game of Thrones.
