Why am I more emotionally invested in Ivan's story than I was in, like, 90% of the traditional media I consumed last year?! You're a wonderful story-teller and your dad's an excellent VA. 'Can you make a living in [x]?' is quickly becoming one of my all-time favourite series on youtube. Excited for pt2!

The dunmer aren't wanting to go back to an ashen wasteland, they just wanna go back home but can't because it's now an ashen wasteland. As for the argonians hating the dunmer... yeah...

I was obsessed with Skyrim back when I was 12-13, recently decided to pick it up again and watch some videos. Genuinely amazing stories aren't something I expected to find in a Skyrim challenge run, but here we are. And I mean it. I wouldn't call myself easy to please and some people call me overly critical, but your stories (I've watched this one and Riften) left me impressed - the characters are simple yet distinguishable by their key features, so it's easy to understand them and sympathise. They feel natural and realistic to the world of Skyrim. The stories themselves are wholesome and heartwarming. Subbed! Looking forward to Solstheim.
Amazing! The portrayal of windhelm in this video is surprisingly accurate, you also got the dark elf discrimination of the stormcloaks mostly accurate I'll say.
I absolutly love these videos with their heavy focus on rp and actually playing the rp and letting us be a part of it. I beg you to continue this series even after your done with all the holds with things like being a bandit or stuff.
The events of the sacking of mornhold are pretty recent as of skyrim, and what the argonians have been through under the dark elves are a painful racial memory that’s never gonna fade. And I mean that literally, when they are born and nurse on the Hist sap they gain the racial memories of other argonians, so it’s literal racial trauma
These are probably the among the best and most creative "Can you..." style of challenge runs out there. The narrative and roleplay focus really makes these videos stand head and shoulders above the rest of the challenge run genre, in my eyes.
