I would do this if I was good at the game.
Usually we see you play for development or high stewardship right off the bat but seeing Zieley roleplay in CK3 is something cool and new.
Its hilarious how I literally just started a Thorfinn playthrough in CK3 and I just found out my favorite CK3 RUclipsr did one already lol. Vinland Saga is the greatest manga and anime of all time!!!!
With the new activity mechanics, you can befriend anyone in your realm by selecting the intent to do so at your feasts. If your steward is your friend, he will do his job 20% better as well as scale 20% more with his skills, which stacks multiplicative to give you a 44% increase in monthly development. Instead of 7.5 monthly development, you would be getting 10.8.

I've said since the start of CK3 that I wish they'd open up at least part of North America for some alternate history possibilities. The historical precedent is certainly there for them to build upon!
Sounds like we need some modding
There is a mod called Sons of Vinland in CKII. I always use it together with the Aztec Invasion. It's not often a very useful area, it's poor and takes a while to get there, but it gives you a bit more area to play with.
Rice has an off map colonization struggle
If you're into Eu4 there's a great mod where you play as the Byzantine empire and flee Europe to settle North America.

Would've been cool if you played with the RICE mod since it has an entire struggle system dedicated to the colonization of Greenland and Vinland
when your character died and you needed to regain those 4 perks for prophet, in that situation i think utilizing the lifestyle tourism mechanic would have been your best move, using pilgrimages and travel route selection to travel to as many places providing learning lifestyle bonuses, that would have gotten you the perks in maybe 4 years depending on travel bonuses and such

You have to make some of the best ck3 content, or at least I think so
You were having problems ending the regency. When you are a child you can still swing the scales of power in your favor. Ive found you have to do that whenever available to keep the regency from becoming entrenched, and if you manage it well and sway the regent you can usually end the regency while offering nothing only a couple years after becoming an adult!
You can dissable the incapable event or unfair dying event in the game settings. Makes life easier and fun (btw nice video 👍)
See I have never gotten those events, even with the update. Other npc’s have, and once my heir got the incapable trait and died, but never had it happen to me. I’m starting to think people are exaggerating with how bad it is but maybe I’ve just been lucky.
when raiding a barony, you can right click on another barony and the raiders wont move until they finish raiding the current barony they're on, since you seem to know most game mechanics i feel you probably know this, but just in case.

And your videos have helped me in my game but what I've learned above all is that You and/or your video editor are MASTERS in editing for effects in image and sound. Would love a series where you simply play all the campaigns the game gives you - I have just done the Wrath of the Northmen Ivar start for example and would be curious to see how you do it. Of course there are several starting factions to that scenario and equally there are many different scenarios across different time lines. Thanks for such amazing content man!

It’s interesting looking at the death events. Ride or die, despite a 0.2 chance of survival, the additional modifiers essentially makes this an inevitable death. Not on you, he was destined for death the moment the game started.

This is how I always try to play, but then I get off, and then the next time I get back on and start conquering and then by the time I remember it’s too late and too many have been killed so I restart a new campaign out of sadness

I like to think that by the end of this game, with Iceland being so far ahead everyone else and with their massive drydocks seemingly in a terrible place, logistically, that they had a secret American Empire they had somehow kept secret from the rest of Europe, and Iceland was just acting as the trade hub between it and Europe.

I don't know if you know of this glitch but if you construct a building and cancel it and again construct it and cancel it, do it for 5 to 10 times and it will reduce your building tume significantly. Like 90%

You can farm prestige way faster by doing battles during raiding, for some reason it contributes way more during raiding. Just make your MAA to raid while being followed by your unraiding levies. AI will only read the MAA as hostile and throw themselves into battle, which should be easy with viking MASs.

Furthermore, Vinland Saga is loosely based on the life Leif (a piece of media adapted for use of education that helped in educating in the structure of a Norse society and belief of Viking Norse).
Also Vinland was in Newfoundland not Iceland. However, Iceland is a Viking settlement that survives to this day. A fully genetically Icelandic person will be Viking in heritage.
*Also* Cnut was a real historical character, one of the three key vikings kings of Denmark, who ruled over England, Denmark and Norway. An Anglo-Scandinavian Empire.

hi, recently started to watch your videos and I find them really enjoying. As a challenge I would like to propose if you can create the EU empire where each country is like a kingdom under the EU empire, eg France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Sweeden, baltics etc. Britania can be skipped due to brexit, but Ireland will need to be included. I think this is will involve dealing with a lot of powerful vasals and different cultures, so hope you give it a try

fun fact: Thorfinn is based on an actual historical character. Þorfinnur "karlsefni" Þórðarson (as he is called in Icelandic orthography) was a settler and explorer of Vinland. I think saying more about this historical character in this comment section will spoil both the manga and the anime for several people (even though the manga isn't finished and hasn't covered the rest of his story)
Iceland is even better with the RICE mod, they add in an offscreen struggle for colonizing greenland
