It does feel more accurate than it used to though I wouldn't call it amazing, The lackluster armor and range when you're uptiered holds it back. I personally think it's the nicest looking IJN BB in game though.
I share your liking for the GW camos. Got one for the Kongo last year, and she's never looked better. The year before that, I got the Southern Dragon, and THAT camp is awesome. :)
Well, when you start off lower than whale shit, there's nowhere to go but up. Aside from the somewhat less erratic guns, the main issue the ship has is it's coated in 26mm armor. You'll take pen damage anytime you're hit with 380mm+ guns. If it had Hyuga's 32mm torpedo bulges it'd be a much different story, but it doesn't so, yes, it does still suck.
Usually japanese BBs have quite bad penetration at distance, so you probably have much more range than you actually can use efficiently. Still pretty good at chunking cruisers (if they are not paying attention at all)
I ran her with Kondo recently (aiming mod + Cunningham equipped) out of curiosity. The damage output is still alright. Edit: it had been nerfed in the early days then got buffed several times into it’s current state.
Cool video and perfect timing for me, as I can buy Akatsuki and Nagato, but can only afford one of them... Thank you for making/sharing!!
Akatsuki is a great boat
@@spursy1 Thank you for the info! I am definitely considering it.
Get the A-Kat. Amagi is awesome but Akatsuki is a frickin menace at tier 6. Get rewarded right away imo
Bro I'm so impressed with! because I didn't knew that ( you can aim at islands and stuff and the shots go over them) so that you can still hit ships behind islands...
I was like wtf is going on i dident know that either
@@FloridaMan493 1 year After and Im still waiting for his rreply'Video. I still play the game and have not master the Shot Over islands technique
@@boojum_12 lmao it be like that some times i been playing for 4 months and had no idea
Haven't played the Nagato in a long time, but it looks pretty accurate now!
I got a 20k shot with her on a Kansas at range the other day and had to double check that I wasn’t playing the Iowa instead
When i play bbs i always push when my side is ready to push or you will just die and waste your ship but you cant be too passive and shoot from the moon
You have the best videos T Bull I really learned a lot from your material. You’re the bomb!!
Run run near full secondary build and this ship has always proformee well for me i run kondo with hipper and geisler as inspirations, no fly zone, porcupine firefighter, master mechanic or properly meticulous and running with scissors my win tate with this ship and set up is 57% currently not my best but definitly not my worst
The problem I see with most battleships is they don't understand positioning: they can't find that sweet spot between too far away and ineffective, or too close and focus fired, especially early in the game. And then, they don't understand as the game evolves, when to change position. I've seen battleships move to a spot and park the whole game to where I thought they were AFK. Battleships are all about angling and position.
I think most understand that. That doesn't mean that the ships short falls aren't a reality.
Def gonna try it out!
I'm grinding the IJN BB-line for the first time and I hate them all. Constantly on fire.
Your not the only one trust me (except for the hating on the ship itself part)
That's not necessarily a IJN BB traiy
Nagato used to be terrible. All I remember was saying fuck it and GXPd to the Amagi
Not real crazy about whacko camos, but I do use the last years GW camo on the Kongo. Are there better options than the Nagato at tier 6? Yes. It doesn’t suck however. I usually do OK with it. Not stellar, just OK.
More vids of rarely played ships please
Yeah it is still not good but not bad either. this is such an average BB.
At T-6 I would rank it 4th or 5th behind NC, Colorado, KGV, Sinop, and Carraciolo.
equal to Lyon and better than Gnsinau
I did 141K in Kongo recently with an accuracy build .
pre nerf nagato was the best imo (that's going back a long time) then wg wrecked it. still not as good as early days but it's at least playable now
That Georgia shot was 41K, not 30K ;-)
The only reason you’re posting this video is to show off the baller camo 🤣
My nagato has a 65% win rate and they were only the second line I played so its not because I'm a unicorn
I wished they had added side armour to her. That would have made her decent but some people can play her right. Not me though Lol
i hate this ship. Total pain in the ass to get through.😡
Still suck? What do you mean? I only use it as a stealth battleship to troll players.
Greetings Tbull, I tried adding you as a friend via PlayStation, but it’s not working. Please help me out this issue?
😂
It's pretty terrible. Fuso is better
Yup Still sukes 🤡
Origami ship ...
Tou are too passive you are the sniping battleship that lobs shells from continents away
It only looks passive because he didn’t have to move much to find broadsides. Nothing wrong with being in the 13-15km range.
A lot of his team seemed to show their broadsides or not prioritise DDs and got punished.
Perhaps he could have made a push a few minutes earlier but there’s no guarantee that was the better play.
He sat in one of the strongest positions on that map 🤷♂️
@@AxiosMassacre there was a cap getting captured right in front of him by an enemy dd and he was standing still
@@conqueror3569 with a DD on it and a DD to the right.
By that point the game was already lost, his team failed to win either flank. Pushing through the middle when you’ve lost the flanks is a good way to get crossfired or in this case cross torped.
There was more than 5 minutes left in the game and the rest of his team had thrown their lives away.
