Just wanted to thank you so much for all the info on that Maytag wash machine, I came against the same problem and didn't know what to do, was going to call a repairman but I know they can be very spendy, so I happen to come across your two wonderful videos and it helped me fix it and that's exactly what my problem was, made my wife happy,👸🤗 thank you again so much!🤙🤗🤗🦃🍗
Hello. I’m having trouble pulling the tub from the cylinder container. When I pull up, it feels like the shaft is hitting on something. The bolt and hose have been disconnected. Any ideas? Was this an issue for you? Should I just pull harder? Thanks
I am not able to get my inner basket out. I follow all of the steps you did and when I go to lift the basket it won't budge. Anyone have any ideas or similar problems.
This helped but I can’t get the drum out, I try to pull it and it won’t budge. It seems that cover with the six screws needed to come off so I did and there is this white plastic piece around the center gear and it won’t come off which I’m guessing is making the drum not come out.
i didn't take the tub out because i just getting a buzzing noise and until i unplugged the washer if won't go away. water is not draining, but cycles will not start because of the buzzing noise and trying to reset buttons does nothing. so i am down under looking at the pump. took the pump off and it looks good with no clog or anything. looks good and clean. i do see a penny and a needle or something up into the pump drain connection area but there's not a way to get those things out. I'm sure i need to check the motor now that i have it disconnected but i would assume it would require 120v and obviously, i just can't connect it to wall power since I'm sure i'd get electrocuted...what would you recommend I do at this point. is there a way to test the pump without plugging it in (like use my volt-/ ohm meter or something?)
Hello. I was getting an LD error code on my washer. I took out the drum, removed a hand towel from the tub and cleaned out all the hoses, checked the pumps for obstructions, and while at it, replaced the bearings and shaft since they were rusty. I'm still getting an LD error and when running diagnostics, I got an F32 error. Do you have any idea what may be going on? The washer is not draining and making a gurgling sound.
Anyone else having problems getting the drum/tub out? I've watched multiple videos gone through all of the steps and it feels like it's still attached to something. Even with 2 people it will not come out
Well I’ve got to the point we’re buddy has pulled out the tub when you actually lose the visual ,we’re he says that I’m going to remove the tub myself cause no one is here to help me . Well this guy must be Arnold because theres no way I can pull the tub out I even remove the 6 screws that are surrounding the middle post . Now I’ve set up a block and tackle and have now lifted the entire washer and the tub still hasn’t released . I’ve sprayed WD 40 on the post shaken it pushed down on the plastic , nada still will not separate from the plastic liner . Finally have given up because I’m ready to throw this piece of. Shit off a bridge . Thanks for the help buddy , maybe next time get someone to video the procedure when your taking the machine apart . Because the most important part was the removable of the tub and guess what no visuals .
It was all food except the drum won't lift out of the bucket. There's a huge big screw looking thing coming up the middle unlike your video. You see that big lug in the middle after you took the drum out in your videos. So why does mine have it raised up high while the drum is still in the bucket?
And everyone blames the dryer for the missing socks. Thanks man! Helped me tremendously, same issue!

Glad I could help!😁
This video was SOO helpful! I wouldn't have been able to fix this clogged washing machine without this great tutorial video! Thank you!
This the best how to video I have seen for fixing our issue and thank you for keeping it short and understandable!!!
Mrs. K. I've had little socks plug the drain. I was able to snag the sock with a piece of wire, instead of removing the drum.
That worked. And to get it back on, just use another 2x4 and a hammer to coerce it back down. Thanks!
Wow!! Thank you!! I cant believe all the dang socks!!!
SO THAT'S WHERE THE SOCKS GO
I want to say thanks you a lot ! I have exactly the same problem as you, thanks 🙏
Im needing to get the drum out of the machine and im having a hard time getting the drum out . how can i get the drum out
Nice video . Thanks ! That’s what I will be doing on my day off 🥃🥴

Did you solve this problem??? I'm having the same problem I need help
Yes. Pulled harder.
I pulled hard and even used a engine lift still not coming out
Wow.. it must be seized together due to rust. See if you can dowse it with penetrating oil.

You should make a part 2 video. Next problem is to stop the clothes from getting to the drain tub. Maybe from filling the washer to much?

Every other video I’ve seen has someone using a 2x4 and a car jack to get the bottom out, how did you do it?
Thank you!

Thank u so much for vid!
This video was borderline helpful except for the video placement and the missing steps such as you gotta use a screw driver to remove those 6 screws.
Actually you dont have to remove that part to remove the tub but its easier to re install when you do .

The one part of the video I need to actually remove the drum isn't even shown. There's like 2 more steps.... ahhh
Can you made a video of to clean it
How did you removed the cylinder??
