I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Chances are the metal on the back side of the speaker has become unglued. I had to re glue mine after I dropped my charge 3 and it started crackling. Regluing repaired mine.
Also, there is a square rubber gasket that is between the speaker and the main mount.. don't rip the gasket.. if the unit is not sealed adequately, you will not get proper bass. Since this unit is sealed similar to a sub woofer.

I think it is possible to upgrade the battery, looking at the battery pack its 4 18650 batteries but the total capacity is only 6000mah You can buy 18650 batteries that are 3000mah on its own so 4 of them would equal 12000mah Put them together and you can double the battery life so a 40 hour battery life I porbs cant afford and dont want to risk the mod but if your willing to do a video on it it would be nice Oh and your the first one to do a proper tear down aside from taking the grill off, ive never seen another person do a video on it Good job
The Killer not a lot only the looks of the drivers,housing is built differently and prob the components and the plastic pieces are a bit more high quality than TL but don’t worry TL doesn’t sound any different than GG model
The Killer There are 2 ways: 1.open the charge port and there you see a barcode,after SN: there should be TL or GG written 2. Get the box,see the bottom of box,see the last barcode from the top,after SN: there should also be GG or TL GG drivers look like in the video TL drivers look completely square
If you get a hole in the bass radiators I don't really think that's repairable unless you disassemble it to where you can access the bass radiators and replace them, But if you do that the speaker won't be waterproof so if you want it to be waterproof just don't replace it and buy a new one

Aswin Frn also i bought this speaker on june 8 2017 i have it exchanged for the same one on june 13 because when it was a vol 100% especially with the song "Down for me" from G-eazy theres a part the bass drops alot and the speaker sounds really blowned out i panicked new speaker all ready damaged i exchanged it and it stills does the same its the type of bass u think there s an equalizer or some thing that can help ?
oh_ helloo you must not know what a blown speaker sounds like... if it was blown you would see smoke or the speaker would refuse to move at all. what you heard was the speaker straining itself to try and hit low notes

Chances are the metal on the back side of the speaker has become unglued. I had to re glue mine after I dropped my charge 3 and it started crackling. Regluing repaired mine.

Could be an issue with the charging port. Remove the board with the port. If you find the metal port loose, soldering is unfortunately required.
