M- Charge 3, bcuz of the not-so-bass
A - Charge 4, has not much highs but is detailed better than M
X- Charge 5, has the balance overall

The Charge 5 now has an equalizer through the JBL app. Now you can turn that bass up even more! The higher bass level is definitely noticeable
M is the Charge 3:
-Treble Sounds really grainy and undefined
-It has the most intermodulation distortion of all
-Bass doesn't reach as deep as on the other ones
A is the Charge 4:
-It has less intermodulation distortion than the Charge 3
-Treble is more defined than on the Charge 3
-Bass reaches deeper than on the Charge 3, which gives it away
-The least loudest of all, which the Charge 4 is known for
X is the Charge 5:
-No intermodulation distortion and a smooth treble response, which gives it away as the Charge 5 has a tweeter
-Richest bass of all
-Loudest of all

@@szilardgurbai3190 intermodulation distortion is a special form of distortion caused by a driver being forced to push both treble and bass, which results in grainy treble. A tweeter solves this problem, as it takes the work off the main driver.
Once you notice it, you cannot unnoticed it.

Yes, we enjoyed it. Sometimes our eyes are tricked by what we see then it pulled our ears that it sounded better, it's so biased. For me this is it.

for the next blind listening challenge, could you make us comment just which letters we prefer or dislike and why. As I think getting people to predict which speaker is which based on already existing sound tests (like your last video) can ruin the 'blindness'
If u don't do the basics of something how r u gonna test it!! There's always a some training reqd even before blind test! E.g. Blindfolded Archery or Pianist they already had trained 1000xTimes with thier eyes n without them too!

M=5, A=3 & X=4...M sounded like it had the wider sound stage presence. A sounded less powerful than the other 2. X was the louder of the 3 but didn't sound as wide as M.
I'm curious. 🤔 I noticed that you've compared two Charge speakers to a single Xtreme speaker and two Xtreme speakers to a single Boombox speaker in your previous videos. How would four Charge speakers compare to a Boombox speaker? How many Clip or Go speakers would it take to equal the loudness of a Boombox speaker. I know making these comparisons wouldn't be necessary, but I couldn't help but feel a bit curious.
Maybe acouple of charge speakers can equal the loudness of the boombox, but the bass would still be alot better on the boombox. I love mine.

Do a JBL Charge 5 vs JBL Xtreme 2 sound battle that would be pretty intresting... Im asking for that because I dont know which one should I get. I heard more that the Charge 5 has 40w of power and the Xtreme 2 has the same amount of power that makes it even more intresting isnt it?🤔🤔
You will have a lot more sound out off xtreme 2 because is larger. Know its your decision. More portability or more sound.

Guys the answer to charge 3 is the one with the most treble or clear sound charge 3 is still king
M: Charge 3
A: Charge 4
X: Charge 5 (I hope)
I prefer X by a long shot, its the loudest, has most bass, most seperation between all frequencies. However I also won't be suprised if X is charge 4
M has least bass, DSP struggles, sounds most hollow.
A has an annoying ringing and is the quietest, DSP struggles a bit
X sounds just really good

I think it's going to be, jbl charge 3 louder, charge 4 most bass, charge 5 not very loud but more bass than charge 3.
I also agree that X is charge 5..
But in my experience the charge 3 has much more treble than the charge 4
And still the M has the known charge 3 muffled sounds at max volume.. so M is chargr 3

I have Charge 5 already and I know it's super loud, so I bet X is Charge 5. And A is the most silent, so it's Charge 4. And M, the middle loud, is Charge 3. 😀 Charge 5 is awesome and I'm in love with it! For me it's big improvement and I was really impressed when I heard it first time when I bought it.
Charge 4 is louder tho then 3
I was a lil doubtful cuz of the review he made about Charge 5, but if you have it and you are happy with the speaker, I'll go for it

@@marcelonarvaez8641 I don't think you can make a mistake by buying it. Go for it. Bass is powerful and more powerful than on Charge 4, even on low volume. Also it's very loud as I said. Sound of it sounds powerful and fuller, and it's close to Charge 3, it's not stereo but it sounds approximately like 70% stereo. For example, on this guy's previous video Charge 5 sounded worse than Charge 4, but it's actually better when you listen it in live. It was really strange on the video for me.
If you can try it before buying, try it and compare it to Charge 4, I'm sure you will say it's better and you'll be impressed.
X is louder and i love the trebble on it,

Keep an eye on distortion, it gives away the results

M - Bass is slightly unclear or rough, mids are weak treble is okay.
A - Bass is slightly weak, mids are weak, treble is okay.
X - Bass is the slightest bit too strong, mids are good, treble is good.
In my opinion, X sounds the best.
To me, X is the best one. And A give me the bad feeling same as Charge 4 I tired before. The sound is being locked inside. And I guess X is Charge 5. So M is 3. Thx

M is the charge 4, because is balanced, but still bass based
A: the vocals are too marked and the base starts to sounds like sh*t, sooo that's the charge 3 for me
The X has the hight more pronounced, overall i prefer that and it sounds louder in some cases, that's maybe because is bigger, so it's the charge 5 for me

M should be the Charge 3 actually. I know it because the Charge 3 had worse treble than the Charge 4 when I switched
X is the best super clean highs
It’s a mistake to go for less deeper bass because that’s what makes music sound fuller overall. I am very disappointed in the charge 5 and will not be purchasing it as my charge 4 is better in multiple ways. The charge 5 has cooler specs but its underperforming those specs and not using them to their fullest potential. Which is a god dang shame.
