I think that was me that suggested this mod for your truck. They look great. I have them on my black rst. Not a bad price either. Another suggestion for your truck is the gloss black pillars between your windows that are on the ltz’s and high country’s. I put them on mine and it makes the tinted windows flow right together. A lot nicer than the black plastic that they put on these trucks. They would look good on your white zr2 with all the other gloss black you have on there.
Awesome! Thanks for reaching out. I was trying to find our conversation on Facebook and would have given you a shout out, but o belong to so many Silverado groups on there, and couldn’t find it. I’ll have to look the pillars up too. I think in terms of cleaning, the gloss would be nicer. But look wise I kinda like the matte finish because it goes with my current matte ZR2 & 6.2L emblems.
Would love to see another video on getting that mirror glass out… any suggestions? I’ve seen your method as well as another where they pop the glass up with a pry tool from the bottom. I’m really nervous about breaking something…

Just be careful. That part was actually very easy.
I like it! I bet it looks good - but what's the difference in light quality/projection between the two?
Between stock and the new Blacked out LED, I would say these are brighter. There are more LEDs in the new light.
@@TheBlueGarage Guess I was wrong 😝
There is a clear lens option as well. But my personal preference is the smoked lens.
I guess it would look good on a “blacked out” truck but it renders the lights useless.
No, it’s super bright. 4 LEDs in each mirror now.
