IMO 1,2 are business models, 3 is a cultural approach or strategy, 4,5,6,7,8,9 are more like operational strategies (models for how to do business, I guess)
Of all the videos I have ever seen , this video has made a huge impression on me. This man is not shouting to do his business. He’s very calm and composed. Thank you.
*3 main Business Models* :- 1) *Recurring income/subscription based model* e.g. Netflix, Jio, Airtel 2) *Online Platform* e.g. Facebook (now META), Amazon, LinkedIn 3) *Innovation centric businesses* e.g. Tesla(innovation- electric cars), Samsung(innovation- foldable phones)
Honestly I have zero knowledge in business field, I came to this chanel because I have to do presentation for a job that I applied and the task is to do slides presentation about Business model. through this video I started to understand a little bit about business models, thank you sir 🙏
It is a bit messy what is strategy, business model"s competitive advantages, capabilities...In my opinion, these different terms or ideas have to answer different questions, or perspectives, points of view on business. There are a lot of overlapping...
Bernard, this video is amazing, very motivational and inspiring - this prove that the road to wealth is really not difficult, but not that easy. Keep posting more of those wonderful videos of yours. Thanks.
Wow! So clear his pronunciation to understand as a foreigner and I am thinking to start to run own my business someday soon.....this information are very helpful. Thanks~
@11:45 The RFID technology (a tint RF tag embedded within the product) have proven to be more effective because it has a wireless code that associates to the description (quality and quantity and status) of those tagged products. Also the readers are becoming more available and affordable than ever before.
Thank you so much and examples you have used. I sort of came on RUclips to find a better way to explain a company's business model. Hybrid with almost 6 of them. Definitely your video has taught me something and boosted my confidence for my presentation
Thank you! I thought I was completely off track on all my writings on the subject when he said he goes into companies and teaches this. How do people get paid for getting things so wrong!
You can also combine lots of these models to grow your business and understand the various necessary angles with which you can serve your customers. I love this content! Thank you.
I am thinking about a new type of restaurants : eating-spots, in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate, this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days, menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.
Its very important Subject/Business models. Try to reduce your background music, its good but disturbing . Music is highlighting compared to your demo, unable to concentrate.. Hope you change in next videos.. thanks bro..
Kim Maksim: Everyone asks: what are Key performance indicators KPI? Key performance indicators are divided into three types. Personal, process and corporate. The first is personal Key performance indicators. These include the personal characteristics of a person, which are determined by the formula:the ratio of the result of labor to the predicted losses that a person can make. Efficiency is = to Result / by Losses That is, in simple terms, each person has his own characteristics. Like a normal computer Before concluding an employment contract with a person each employer determines this most personal Key performance indicators If he needs just such a person with his characteristics then he concludes an employment contract with him. The key performance indicators of each person are constantly changing depending on the characteristics of the person. Competence, physical condition, motivation, technical support. How are personal Key performance indicators used in remuneration? In remuneration, Key performance indicators are applied using the formula the ratio of the result of labor to predicted losses Efficiency is = to Labor Result / by Losses For example: wages are divided into two parts, variable and fixed The constant part is unchanged The variable is adjusted using Key performance indicators. If an employee achieves a predicted loss of fifty percent, then his Key performance indicators will be equal to one. That is, he will receive the variable part of his salary in the amount of one constant part. 50 %/ 50 %= 1 If an employee achieves a predicted loss of forty percent then his Key performance indicators will be equal to one point five tenths. That is, he will receive the variable part of the salary in the amount of one point five tenths of the fixed part. 60 % / 40 %= 1,5 If an employee achieves a predicted loss of thirty percent then his Key performance indicators will be equal to two point three tenths That is, he will receive the variable part of the salary in the amount of two point three tenths of the fixed part. 70 % / 30 %= 2,3 If an employee achieves a predicted loss of twenty percent, then his Key performance indicators will be equal to four That is, he will receive the variable part of his salary in the amount of four fixed parts 80 % / 20 %= 4 If an employee achieves a predicted loss of ten percent then his Key performance indicators will be nine. That is, he will receive the variable part of his salary in the amount of nine fixed parts. 90 % / 10 %= 9 The possibilities of Key performance indicators as well as the possibilities of a person, are not limited How to determine the predicted losses and the result of labor? In practice we use almost all these models similarly. Does a hybrid business model exist? is it effective? or rather we should be more focused on just one or two?
If you can create a hybrid between all 9 you have a winning formula - just think of Amazon, Alphabet, Alibaba, etc.- many of today's most successful companies are using all 9.
@@bernardmarr In my opinion this is the right message of this video, naturally, if all these is applicable in concrete company. If all those business models are elements of one business model, maybe we should call them differently, (but that question seems to be intellectual exaggerating), or simply as you said we should call them hybrid - winning-models. Thanks a lot as usual, looking fwd for the next video!
Expansion is essential to a business as it evolves from a startup to a full-fledged company backing a product or service. However, a business can't grow if there is no concrete roadmap in place to navigate the uncharted space. I think the best fit for business relies heavily on the industry and the customer base that the company plans to serve. In my case, a subscription seems to be the best fit due to most software premium software existing in this state today. However, that's not to say that is the only method.
Hi, I'm new to your channel, I'm a creative marketer working on launching my creative serve company; which of your books will you recommend to start reading and why? thanks!
Excellent video . I even from your website read the text which is also with reading along with video. Can I sue your video and handout for my students of Emerging organization and dynamic change
Sounds like we have a similar background working with corporate - I'm curious what is your chosen business model out of all of those that you've found to work the best - especially in these crazy times?
This is the epitome of excellence. I read a book with similar content, and it was the epitome of excellence. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight

What are business model components? 1. Anything that a business model needs to produce a product or service: design, raw materials, production methods, labor, etc. 2. Anything needed to sell a product: marketing, distribution, product delivery, or sales services and operations. 3. Everything that the customer pays and how it is paid: pricing strategy, payment methods, payment time, down payment amount, etc. retiba.com/academy/business-strategies/business-model-differ-business-plan/ A good business_model can modify and optimize each of these three components. You may be able to lower costs during design and production. You may be able to find more effective ways to market and sell. Or you may be able to come up with an innovative way for customers to pay.
I just shot a video on this. Really good video Bernard and I agree with a few things you've shared. Subscription income is essential, that's the true definition of passive income. Do you sell any courses to sell any pieces of training on this? If not I highly recommend becoming an affiliate at the least because you have a great following and traffic coming in. Great job and all the best.

Great Video however content needs to be updated as you now Disney has built that platform to play its content to the end user and omit the music, it is distracting.
Absolutely, if you think about companies like Amazon, this is exactly what they are trying to do. The more you address all these models the more successful you are going to be.

I agree. But these are 9 interesting notes.
Agree, but maybe Bernard can give all of those 9 example so each of them have their own "stance" as a Business Model

There’s a mixture of model and strategies, would appreciate even more if it’s clean clear cut differentiation. Thank you for the amazing content

If I understood correctly, No.7 is more of a business strategy than a business model.
