Add sugar-free ones. I think regular Red Bulls are grows the sugar-free ones probably tasted even more nasty just like any other sugar-free soda or energy drink or candy for that matter.
People think it’s no big deal but it can literally cause fatal caffeine poisoning if given to a child under age 10. But then again you gotta remember, it was the 90s, and nobody gave a fuck about kids back then.
Here from Jennette's book. That's wild how they made Kathie Lee overbearing & controlling in this skit - and that's exactly how Jennette says her mom was to her, in her book.
So much of her acting career was her acting out her own trauma. Sadistic freak Dan Schneider added a lot of things that mirror her real life into i-Carly and made her act it out too.
Jennette mentions creepy actions by "The Creator" she calls him. We all know who it is. Dan Schinder. He's trash. He's a pedifile, a pervert, and a abuser. Why doesn't she mention his name? I theorize this: 1. It's too hard for her, too traumatic. 2. He has a lot of power. Jennete said she wants to write and direct, BUT...she could get blacklisted for speaking out.
Jennette is so little in this episode. Reading her book that describes this scene, I'm amazed she remembers so much about it. Such an aware person in a little child.
I think the parts where she is talking about being younger are from her journal she had at that age. I may be wrong though. It is surprising either way I agree! It’s hard to remember trauma sometimes because your brain wants to suppress it or get rid of the memory to protect you as a defense mechanism. Usually there’s a lot of things missing from your childhood when you’re abused or mistreated or have trauma and I’m assuming there probably is some things missing from her memories! But if this isn’t from some kind of journal or diary of hers when she was the ages that she describes so vividly that’s incredible. It’s already incredible what she went through and has overcome but that’s such a big part of healing and can be a missing piece sometimes when the reasons you act the way you do come from memories that your brain won’t let you remember to start understanding. That’s literally the first step but the brain doesn’t want to let go of it and let you remember because of how bad it started to hurt you at the time it was happening. You may even have “memories” that aren’t real like things people told you happened and your brain may fill that hole that was taken out because of trauma and fill it with a fake memory and you think you’re getting closure and understanding but it’s not real. It’s such a complex complicated thing to have a traumatic childhood. I’m so happy for her she has been able to look back and see where things started and why and has healed a lot of what made her hate herself and be unkind to her body and mind.
@@pamelathomas312 I'm sure being able to have parts of your life immortalized on video helps a person to remember the time and thought process but... Speaking as a person who has a narc parent, it's hard to NOT be aware as a kid. As soon as you're unaware, it bites you. So having to be aware of everything all the time becomes your default setting. It's a compliment, but also not.
Its interesting how all these ancient uploads of things like this take on a new purpose and meaning as a supplemental archive to Jennette's book. Originally just uploaded by someone who liked an old madtv sketch.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who came to this sketch while reading Jennette’s book. I remember this sketch from back when it originally aired, as she described the sketch in the book I gasped “Oh my god that was her!!” Had to revisit this now after reading the backstory.
Just like my fellow commenters. I'm here after reading Jennette's story about this audition. I can't believe how controlling and manipulative her mother was. Guilting her daughter and the rest of het family to get her way. I feel angry for the sweet innocent little girl we see in this video. She tried so hard to keep the piece and not do anything to stop her mom from flipping out. It's crazy how The Kathy Lee character is basically acting exactly like I picture this poor little girl
Heck of a thing to see this now. I grew up watching Mad TV. Eventually I would see ICarly and I had a crush on Jenette as she is only about a year younger than I am. Her memoir has left me so sad for what she went through, but so proud of her speaking up.
It upsets me how young she is here that some her teeth are still missing and yet she was suffering through acting school that she didn't want to even attend because her mom keeps forcing her to. AND SHE COULDN'T EVEN ASK FOR A DIFFERENT ICE CREAM FLAVOUR BECAUSE HER MOM WAS GONNA FUCKING CRY ABOUT HER GROWING UP AND SHIT.
I don't know if it's true or not but as a kid, Jennette lied to her friends who got allowances that she was saving her acting money for traveling but she was actually using it to help support her family.
thank you youtube! amazing to read the mccurdy book book and find the evidence! i just spoiled the book though cuz all this searching led me to the biggest twist in the story!
You re here probably because read Jennette 's book. But if you're also a child of a narcissistic parent, understand this, even if they are still alive, they are in fact already dead. Jeannette's mother was just an animated body. Like all narcissists, they went through a trauma/abuse so intense ,usually during their own childhood, that in that very day a fuse blew inside their psyche and they died. It's a hard and bizarre concept to grasp. Because you see them moving, they grow up,have jobs, raise families, but they ARE ALREADY LONG TIME AGO DEAD! Because they are dead, they don't see it as an abuse all the pain they inflict even to their own children. They were not there, you were not there, therefore in their mind the abuse never existed. Ask any still alive, abusive parent of a grown up adult, if they think they did anything wrong... They will swear for dear life they didn't, blame shift, gaslight, etc. It's been 8 years I went no contact with my mother, (I'm 37, she is 62)for a boundary I had to impose. And it was a rather simple boundary,to apologize for the hurt she has done in a particular occasion I did not performed a way she expected me to. 8 years, three grandchildren of hers later, to this day she never apologized. Don't get me wrong. I ain't expecting an apology. When I set the boundary I knew little to nothing about narcissism, a topic I started studying 4 years ago. Then I saw the setting the boundary was the right thing to do and going no contact is the only way towards healing oneself. Healing you. Not the narcissist. You can't heal the dead, even when they are still alive.
I think it's too bad that Jennette stopped acting in 2018. I wish Sam and Cat would have continued. Maybe she could have made the iCarly reboot better.
me searching up every scene jennette mentions in her book
HELP SAME
Did you find the x files one? Im trying to but i dont find it anywhere
@@jeffersonadams8711 oh, i see. Thanks for the answer :)
Girl same 😭
Saaaame.
People are gonna come looking for this video once more ppl have read her book but Kathy’s character in this video gives jennette’s real life mom vibes
exactly why I'm here. just read that part in the book
Yup, I just got done reading that chapter in her book and wanted to look for it too!
Reading the book now and came looking for this
here too ✋🏻
Some of the moms in iCarly give her moms vibes too like Freddy’s mom and Sam’s mom
i still can’t get over the fact that jennette mentioned that her mom gave her red bulls at that age to make her look more energetic
Add sugar-free ones. I think regular Red Bulls are grows the sugar-free ones probably tasted even more nasty just like any other sugar-free soda or energy drink or candy for that matter.
They existed back then? Gosh😮 I really have been living under a rock
People think it’s no big deal but it can literally cause fatal caffeine poisoning if given to a child under age 10. But then again you gotta remember, it was the 90s, and nobody gave a fuck about kids back then.
Well, her mom is dead, so she can talk shit about her all day. Truth or otherwise.
Not dissimilar to Honey Boo Boo or whatever her name was being given a mix of Red Bull and Mountain Dew before pageants.
Here because of Jennette’s memoir. She’s so much smaller and younger than the girl I was imagining while reading it 😭😭
Sameeee I’m appalled at how young she was.
And that last line she desperately didn’t want to say was so unfunny. They made her say that for what?? Poor baby.
I'm reading this part right now...and she literally says she's 8 years old. This is exactly what I expected.
@@PinkeeNiqquh she says she's 8 in the book
@@Goldrefinedthrufire She clearly looks much younger than 8.
Here from Jennette's book. That's wild how they made Kathie Lee overbearing & controlling in this skit - and that's exactly how Jennette says her mom was to her, in her book.

Right and years ago we would’ve never imagined ☹️

Hollywood moms be like
Jennette does a really good job narrating her story on her book. the psychology of being a kid actor.
Just came here from reading the book
she really does!
I'm on chapter 6, 😔
Just came here from reading the book as well

SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SAY THE WORD 😭😭😭😭 wow this adds such a intimate layer to her book
Poor little Jennette. She was so cute and innocent. I wish I could save her at this age from everything 🥺
This skit is absolutely WILD after reading Jennette McCurdy's memoir
Let’s be real, most of us are here cuz of the her book.
who's faking?
Not me, just here because I always have Mad TV in my recommendeds.
Ironic how the mother in this skit is treating her daughter like jennettes mom was treating her.
Poor baby, you can see how upset she is after saying her last line 💔 back to reading I go
I love how everyone watched this after reading Jeanette’s book
Wow she really did look sad at the end there.

😮
Who else is here after Jennette's book??
Here from her book! The woman playing her mom is a lot like she describes her mom surprisingly
I’m glad I’m not the only one who came to this sketch while reading Jennette’s book. I remember this sketch from back when it originally aired, as she described the sketch in the book I gasped “Oh my god that was her!!” Had to revisit this now after reading the backstory.
This is heartbreaking now...Jenette was being treated like a puppet behind the scenes.....
The fact some of her roles mirrored and foreshadowed her real life is abit heartbreaking
Me, years ago as a Jennette M fan and watching this: 😂😭😭💀
Me, watching this after reading her memoir: 😬☹️😔
Jennette, if you are reading these - hugs to you. We see you and we hear you.

The way the actress is literally how Jennettes mom acted.
It’s like all of the producers were in on this little girl‘s trauma
No...she was booked bc she knew how to react to a mother like this...and she can play negative feelings well bc of her experiences
That was Jeannette’s very first acting role! She recently released a memoir talking about all the crazy things her mother did to her!
Here after reading this part in the book 🙋🏻♀️
Wow she was so little here
Here from Jennets’s book?
I remember when I was 18, Jennette McCurdy wrote me a letter in response to a fan letter I sent her, and I was so excited.
Who’s looking up the different shows because of her book now?
Just finished this part in the book
Here before everyone comes to watch this clip after reading Jennette’s book lol
We’re all so impressed
@@himsel1991 Thank you 🙏🏻

She’s so little here, its sad knowing the story behind it
I can only imagine her real life mom watching her every move 😕
They may as well have had Jennette's mom playing Kathie in this sketch...
This was hard to watch after reading her book.
Poor thing.
I just got to chapter 10 in jannettes book
Jesus this is haunting given how Jenette was being treated irl.
Also I feel like this skit predicted Kris Jenner.
Reading Jennette Book.
Jennette McCurdy’s story brought me here you can see how tormented she felt here
Jennette brought a lot of us here, I see.
I didn't know Jennette McCurdy was on Mad TV not as an old soul person.
Here cuz the book Lol
exactly why I'm here. just read that part in the book
Man U can tell she really don’t want to be there
This is horrible to watch honestly after knowing how she felt about it. She's basically just a puppet here. Her childhood was taken from her.
Came here because of the book lol
LOUDER!!!! 😂
she was so little bro. & the way she goes into pure detail about everything only proves how much ts really bothered her.
The fact that she just has to play herself at that age is… wild 🥺 poor Jennette…
I don't know if it's true or not but as a kid, Jennette lied to her friends who got allowances that she was saving her acting money for traveling but she was actually using it to help support her family.

Who else is here from "I'm Glad My Mother Died" ?
I’m here cause I’m reading the book

They forced Jennette to say something she didn’t want to say and it wasn’t even funny. The whole show looks so boring
this skit definitely was. "that's my white momma" isn't
the last part was so unneeded
This feels incredibly sad. Watching Jeanette play a child with an aggressive stage Mother while she was living it in real life.
The worst part is that her mother was actually like that.
That's Jenette McCrudy from
From Nickelodeon's ICarly &
Sam & Cat !!!!!!!
This is Ironic. Little jenette is probably wondering what is happening like this is normal 😔
THAT'S SAM FROM ICARLY! I LOVE SAM! ALSO SO CUTE MY BEAUTIFUL LORD JESUS SO BEAUTIFUL
