Enjoyed your video and common sense approach. I agree there is too much focus on getting the “look” in many of the videos I have watched. This requires more purchases. Rather than using what you have and being mindful of what you buy. I am learning to be mindful of what I buy, grateful for what I have, and slowly making decisions about what I should keep and use and what has served its purpose and now needs to leave.
That's great! I think it's an ongoing process of remembering to be mindful and careful with our purchases, especially when so much of the messaging is for us to 'consume' ☺️
I’m a “natural” minimalistic person. As a child I put everything away. Hated posters and junk on my walls unlike other teenagers. Even my parents were like “paint a crazy colour?!? This is weird lol. I am also an All or nothing person. Have you made a video on the unhealthy side of minimalism? The control and focus of getting rid of things ? The obsession of thinking about not having stuff (which is the reverse of hoarding) the lack of joy making purchases… it’ll all end up in the landfill anyway mentality. I know this sounds heavy but I thinks it’s a real problem for some.
Funny enough, I HAVE made a video on the unhealthy side of minimalism! I don't think I covered all the points you raised but there's always room for a "part 2"! I need to edit it so it'll be out at some point ☺️

I went by room. Then I go back again later. It's like a onion, do it by layers. Now for me its a upkeep. Enjoyed your video.
I love the onion metaphor - that's so true. It can sting as much as an onion, too! 😂 Thanks so much for watching ❤️
