If you want to make a guide for new players, collab with a creator who has never played wow before. No doubt they'll ask questions you'd have never thought of
Ive never been turned off by class changes in MMOs, I usually have a small stable (3+) of classes I play and just bounce between them until I feel a good fit, then play that for the entire expansion. I have never just played a single class in my life.
I love your videos first of all. I just wanted to comment on button bloat. I agree its a major problem that is one of if not the primary reason new player numbers are not great. A big problem that I hope isnt affecting this is the amount of people on forums that argue against the button bloat with “I want more complexity”. I think most people get it and would agree that there is button bloat but there is a vocal minority pushing for not fixing this and since it is on the forums I worry that Blizzard actually takes that vocal minority as more than they should. I feel like they take half measures a lot of the time with this problem and I am starting to think the vocal minority is causing this. I wish they had polls for this sort of thing so we as players at least get the warm and fuzzy that they know it is a mass problem rather than a “lots of people want less but lots of people want it same or more buttons”.
Yeah, so actually there is no button bloat. Don't tell me that on avarage 4-6 buttons are too much these days. Because that's how many rotational spells 1 specc usually have. Having situation spells, CDs or utility doesn't really matter here, because youre not pressing those buttons regurarly. And believe it or not, for a lot of new people having many abilities, even if 70% of them you use very situationnaly can be a positive too. Some people like that, and it keeps them wanting to play the game more.
You don't understand the concept of vocal minorities. Vocal minorities are always the ones that are COMPLAINING (instead of playing) about something my guy (in our case complaining about too many buttons), never has a vocal minority AGREED with something that is implemented because instead of whining they play and enjoy it.
I can only speak for myself, but the reason Im generally against reducing amount of spells is when they have done it in the past it was in a very lazy way of just removing things without much replacement or thought. Making rotations, classes, gameplay etc just more boring. If they instead of just removing combine certain talents/spells, or give a rework to some of the old less interesting (mechanically and visually) spells (with 10+ year old effects etc) it would not be such a big deal. I've seen some good stuff in TWW so far, but also some bad removals.
I'm certain that Blizzard will forget to make the warband bank toy not accessible to timerunners, thus allowing you to smuggle anything you want to or from your timerunners briefly until they hotfix it.
So excited for Skyriding on regular mounts. I always pick out a ground and flying mount that fit each of my characters, so it was a small bummer to not really be able to use them in DF

dont you have to already have both glaives on the DH first befire u do timewalking BT ? or have they changed that now and you just finish the run on the DH and your g2g ?? someone pls say thats how it is now lol
Would've been fun if they had an RNG roll in quest text that just swapped "Dalaran" with a different random capital city. People would go nuts if they read "Hey player, we're gonna talk a bit about the fall of Stormwind over here", only to find out other people read "Orgrimmar".
Yeah I had both warglaives on my Rogue and then went and ran the timewalking BT raid on my Demonhunter and got the achievo. No warbank required for that. It's already recognized that your account owns the necessary things. :)
Yes and no. You don't need them on a DH, but you do need them on the character that can equip them for the achievement. Not sure if you need to do the TW on that specific character or if you can do it on another character once you have the achievement. People are saying that any class can unlock the transmogs for DH once you have the achievement. But the Achievement is locked to Warriors, Rogues, Death Knights, Monks and Demon Hunters.

I've been in the process of making a "fur covered hunter" look for my orc using the new wolfs head helm. There is a cloak "Bearmantle Cloak" I believe that is part of the druid tier set that matches pretty well. Will I now be able to use it come TWW?
No the changes just affect what class you can learn the Transmog on. You can, for example, learn a Warrior set transmog on your Druid so that when you log on to your Warrior the transmog options are learned and available to use there, but the Druid will not be able to apply visuals from the Warrior set just as it as before.
10:25 lol as a player who played destiny since taken king I barely get prismatic and all I can think is man it must be a massive pain to learn without the foundation knowledge from playing the other classes. At the time they needed new players they take the meta complexity to the next level lol..
I wouldn't say it *ruined* the game for me, but when I got back in the game after 4 years I found they completely changed the modern UI, and I hhhhhhhate it. Currently looking for a mod to bring back a more classic UI, with no success. :/

I am STOKED for Warbands but am absolutely TERRIFIED at the sh!tshow I expect the implementation to be for the first couple days/week.
