The crystal goes as far back as the black empire, you have the mural that showcases that. As for the crystal, I’m leaning towards it being a shard of creation, as it was briefly touched upon in chronicle book one chapter 1. With this being a vast ocean consisting of the tears of Eonar, it has adverse reactions to a verity of things. For example, the blink crabs, and their rapid evolution since the crash of Dalaran. Its magics have been leaking down into this ocean from above, if it’s effecting the crabs, who’s to say it’s not effecting the other life, or even the roots of Elun'Ahir. Even when the void lose, they win. We never see the whole picture until it’s too late. This ocean has been teased for a long time, and even the kraken theme. Look no further the the dreadwake mount. Look at the front, notice that friendly kraken. Look at the bottom back, a skull and tentacles in the same pose as the mural in azj’kahet. Read the flavor txt. Lastly, and this maybe a stretch, but the beledar is only known by that name because of the arathi, there is no other txt or names given when it’s brought up even going back to the black empire. If the “beledar” is a shard of creation, I think because it’s a shard… it use to be one whole of creation before it shattered across the cosmos, and if these things are so powerful, who is to say these shards of creation aren’t bound by quantum entanglement? They likely could create bridges or pathways to one another. The portal theory! It’s a gate a door. Heck, even go back to Ogmot’s journal. Read the last page, I firmly believe it was the beledar he was talking about. The threads of destiny, shows Xal’atath open a portal right over the beledar over the mural…. The foreshadowing!! The beledar only started changing after the sword was plunged into Azeroth. Deactivating the sword was key, Gorribal, the dark seether (That Sword) imo was eating away the shadow and void corrupting the planet, through trickery and deceit it was deactivated. It all played into the voids favor. The void cannot just show up, and how else to usher in a void lord, but link up the shard of creation over on k’aresh with that if Azeroth’s bridging the two, a world of void invading from the roots of the planet.
Honestly, I think at some point we’re going to do some kinda crazy magic stuff that’s going to cause the roots of Elun’ahir to regrow into a brand new world tree, and then the thing is going to just - SZCHIIIUUUPPP!! - just burst through the hole in the Coreway, and then all of the NPCs are going to be like, ‘Oh, THAT’S what it was for! And the Last Titan will involve a 3-way fight between the Titans, Void, and Light.
I don't think we will be allies of xalatath at all, but I do think the light will become overbearing and it will be a threat just like the void that we will have to deal with. So I mostly can see what you're saying.
I thought it was a titan nuke because it dropped after humans already were around which means titans already kind of lost to the curse of flesh. So it couldn't be a colonizing ship because the titans were already here. Unless it was there colonizing ship and maybe the black empire shot it down. I suppose in my head cannon the titan shot it as azeroth cuz they losing the war to the black empire to nuke everything but this don't make sense because if the radient song is azeroth crying its going to be hit by a nuke then why wouldn't people have herd it when the ship first fell. Also the titans would notice a nuke not going off. Maybe it was the colonizing ship chilling in orbit shot down and now because of sarg sword it is in self destruct mode or something and that is why we hear the song because its like a self destruct warning or because azeroth actually thinks it will kill get when it blows up. The only thing I cant really factor in is how if the ship falls in the water that will do anything more then what it is already doing. Maybe this is the titan making missile lol and they launch it at planet cores to make titans and if it gets to our core it kills azeroth to make a titan out of her. If sarg was trying to make beladar void though wouldn't that bring about what he don't want if it hits azeroth while in void mode? Something we still missing here.
Geya'rah being there with the Horde force is a bit weird, but at least they're using her for something, she didn't get to do much during BfA and afterwards. I don't think the Arathi are going to replace Yrel's forces as her arcnemesis though, that storyline could still be revisited later, with some proper work done to it. BUt I don't know if Blizzard would willingly go back and fix some of the mistakes of WoD and all associated stories.
I think Xal”Atath is light aligned in some way. Why else would she be siphoning the void energy from Beledar? This can only be to the benefit of whatever force of light is in it.
We will see the lightforged and Yrel again. They made mention of a lightforged hellscream who was made an exarch. Then not to long ago Blizzard in China revealed a Lightforged Gorehowl statue celebrating the return of World of Warcraft to China. I don't think it was just for show I think at some point it will be relevant.
If Sargeras was going to stab the silithus area anyways, then why didnt he do it sooner? It seems like he was looking for something. Perhaps he meant to sheath the sword directly into the corway. Looks about the right size for it.
This video made me realize how the whole timeline shit we got in WOD, essentially ruined the cohesive plotline. I was willing to turn the other cheek with the whole bronze dragonflight because it felt like it was contained. WoD however made it possible that there are multiple timelines were the Legion and Voidlords essentially exist in. Whats stopping them from entering the current timeline if just some random bronze dragon could figure it out? Even more reason WoD was soo shit.
I guess the only thing we can hope for is that timelines need a connection. Wod timeline and this one are the only ones that have a strong connection thus the infinite other universes or time lines are inaccessible. We could also have nozdormu sacrifice for this to not take place. But I feel it’s salvageable. I can only think of maybe one more interaction cross over. Perhaps the bronze flight can end it. Especially now since the aspects have been renewed
could of sworn belluar said in another video that Beladar is the Light's equivalent to old gods that was sent out to Azeroth during the first cosmic war between the light and void. I was speculating that Beladar is the reason why Azeroth hasnt turn into a void entity because the old gods have been on Azeroth long before the titans.
Isn’t the Coreway in the center of the underground map between Hallow and Ringing? So going west topside should sorta feasibly get close to where the crystal top should be
Okay wild theory here: if Beledar predates recorded history, and if Elune created the Prime Naaru, what if Beledar is where Elune is? My hope is that in these next expansions we’ll finally see Elune in-person
Without watching, I remember the fact that we just rescued the last Draenei Crystalsmith...forger? I forgot what title specifically, but it looks like we already have what we need to turn this into a new space ship.
I mean .. Sargeras couldn't really stabbed somewhere else tbh .. he was already getting pulled away , so his choice wasn't that big , just saying and the sword in the cinematic is much bigger than ingame , in the cinematic the handle of it is in space , ingame we can fly up to it
If you look at a photo of the wow cosmology, the void lords are listed in between 2 spots that is empty almost everywhere else in the list, in between shadow (void) and old gods so what if the naruu are creating their own in between and this cluster of 5 naruu have been fighting 4old gods(maybe zalatath is a 5th old god still? Hidden beneath ajz kahet/silithus) and it's a 5v5 fight over control of a world slul? Maybe the light was winning and Sargeras tried to stab old god #5 that was hidden but he missed and accidentally helped it by infecting the naruu causing the void to actually take the lead in claiming azeroth. The void have the nerubians and all that shit, the titans have their constructs that later became us, kind of mixtures of every single cosmology, and then there are the purified light power like the drained lightforged and the emperor of light and what not? This thought is a bit messy as I write it on the toilet, it makes sense in my head, comment if you need clarity
Had another thought on this about how the cosmology may be off and order/the titans aren't correct and titans might be a form of life for each cosmology like sonar is the life titan, sargeras a fel titan and Argus a fel/death titan leaving a light/void titan empty and all of them don't want a void titan so to counteract it they're making the first light titan to form voltron the 5 cosmology titans into 1 super titan to fight the void 😂 went off the rails at the end as a joke but ye
What if, it's the tip of Sargeras sword covered in Azerite (the blood of Azeroth) ? What's 100% sure is that Blizz purposely put it there to have peeps talk about it.
Illidan and Sargeras been chatting. Sargeras is gonna go help beat up the titans and he's gonna die in the process, but while he was doing that, he told Illidan that he charged the sword up with titan juice and told him how to wield it and absorb that shit. Giant illidan with Gorschlach or whatever its called charges up on titan juice is gonna be the last titan! Oh noooooooo!
I know most people would argue “but that already is what happens with expansions before” but it still feels obnoxious and weird how much more than usual I keep hearing this sentiment of “oooh this is set up for the next expansion!” Like am I weird for feeling this way? That I feel kinda like for as much excitement people have for TWW, a lot more of them would rather be playing Midnight/the last titan and get this sense that TWW is by designed meant to be soon overshadowed by future expansion shenanigans?
Maybe if Blizzard wanted people to be excited about TWW, they shouldn't have said "midnight will be the expansion with all of the features that will get players excited". Also, how could TWW ever top "the epic confrontation between the light and the void" that also brings us back to quel'thalas? Of course people are more excited for Midnight.
Yeah. Pretty much. As much as blizzard never admits it some expansions (and patches) are meant to be filler content and we allready had a bunch of those in the past. Now to be fair at least now we have an actual saga with a story that finally includes the void, possibly old gods and the titans. We needed something that would exponentially raise the stakes and we got it. Story and lore, the one department that wow almost always suffered from seems fixed. The only question is if they do pull through how can they raise the stakes even higher after that saga?
This is a trilogy of expansions, so yeah, they're setting up for the next two expansions. Literally. Idk why it bothers you but they design expansions years in advance, so many plot devices are created with future story in mind.
@@The86Ripper your last question is moot. They are obviously going for a reset scenario here. They're having their avengers end game moment and then things will be de-escalated and they'll start a whole new 20 year span of WoW. That's pretty much what they've stated.
@@hobosnake1 Oh ok i hadnt heard of that. I guess that makes sense, but its just that people have been asking for that for ages so you understand my skepticism of it being more of wishful thinking than an actual reality.
She's ABSOLUTELY going to pull an Azshara, possibly even LITERALLY pull Azshara (if I recall my lore we freed her in ny'alotha and her whereabouts are currently unknown) out of whatever pocket dimension she's hiding in and that will be set-up for Midnight, where Azshara will be an even bigger, even badder Harbinger serving the Void Lords directly. And... naturally, she's gonna double-cross them and help us to fight them in the final raid tier of Midnight.
Yes because Stormwind, Lordaeron, Our Arathi, Gilneas, Alterac, Kul Tiras on and on and on weren't all formed by the exact same thing you bring up for this Arathi Empire across the sea. War, death, conquest. It is the heart and soul of forging nations, countries and empires. The only difference is that on whatever continent these Arathi landed on their society became a united people rather than disconnected like on the Eastern Kingdoms.
Sargeras, illidan, the void vs. The overbearing light and titans? Maybe. Or sargeras may want to somehow bring balance to the light and void while also dealing with the titan thing. Maybe the titans have favored the light and it has become problematic? I don't know. So many ways this could go. We are probably not even close.
@frewthelookingglass860 you never know what might happen, but yeah it'd adhere more to the old lore to not have him do that perhaps, but he does seem to be an "ends justify the means" kinda guy. That's why I'd never say never. More of an alliance of necessity than what he'd actually want, but I'm not advocating for that.
@@hobosnake1 I’d kinda like Sarg and Illidan teaming up with the titans to take out the void. THEN sarg and illidan realise that the titans need to be stopped too for some reason. Final boss
So I have a giga tin foil hat theory, this purely using rumors. I heard that we may see Illidan again at some point during this trilogy, we last saw him leave with Titans if I recall doing his grin. What if he killed them all, self proclaiming himself, The Last Titan. Again, I'm likely messing something up massively lore wise here, but it kinda fits his character and would be a hell of a twist lol.
I think him conversing with Sargeras and finding out that the Titans are even worse than Sargeras is more likely. I think illidan will serve as sargeras vessel to Azeroth like sargeras had originally planned in legion. You never know, though.

The map of the underground zones shows the cliffs on the far side of the crystal. It certainly isnt some vast endless sea….
I was thinking about how we drained Xal'atath's blade into the sword, you think maybe that might've also contributed a bit too?
Have you thought about the anniversary event memories in Silithus tying in with the C'tun old god blood theory?
Do we know for certain that Un'goro was the location of Elun'ahir or could it be the entry wound where Beledar hit?
The sword hits really close to beledar. Hallowfall is north of khaz algar. Which is just south of uldum.
I will listen to these two blokes talk for 20 minutes, go off on random tangents, have zero idea wtf they are talking about… but fkn love it
I thought it was the tip of sargeras' blade for ages without realising the geography of it wouldn't make much sense.
I thought it was Azeroth's chrysalis or something since the radiant visions triggered when we entered the zone but what do I know.
Pyromancers theory is really dope
Beledar is a plug in the ocean to prevent the world soul from being drowned. 😂
Bellular blinks with every other word just like Asmongolds eyebrows jump every other word
could of sworn belluar said in another video that Beladar is the Light's equivalent to old gods that was sent out to Azeroth during the first cosmic war between the light and void.
Titans were way before the dragons; it could totally have landed before the proto-drakes were uplifted.
I wonder if they were inspired by Shadowbringers with all the light/dark stoof.
Without watching, I remember the fact that we just rescued the last Draenei Crystalsmith...forger? I forgot what title specifically, but it looks like we already have what we need to turn this into a new space ship.
I get big wheel of time Sean Chan vibes from the Arathi Empire.
Illidan is the Deadpool of WoW
I fully expect Illidan to absorb Sargeras.
I mean .. Sargeras couldn't really stabbed somewhere else tbh .. he was already getting pulled away , so his choice wasn't that big , just saying and the sword in the cinematic is much bigger than ingame , in the cinematic the handle of it is in space , ingame we can fly up to it
The crystal the formation around the bottom part of the sword of sargerras... I think
It isn’t. Not even close geographically.

@@JbizzyG That, and Sargeras’ sword was stabbed into Kalimdor. Khaz Algar is closer to Pandaria.
@@JbizzyG ahh makes sense
We could see the Arathi Empire on other side of Azeroth expansion given that Hallowfall was a expedition from the Empire itself.
Beladar looks oddly intricate in design like it was created. Also, why would there never a “hey dude, why the sword thing” question asked of Sargeras?
Its going to be interesting seeing Faerin break under the weight of the void.
Do we have any in game lore about the relationship between the titans and naruu?
Maybe Beledar is end point of Uldum " maybe Halls of Origination" if you push it to hard Azeroth Restart / Reformat :D
What if, it's the tip of Sargeras sword covered in Azerite (the blood of Azeroth) ?
What's 100% sure is that Blizz purposely put it there to have peeps talk about it.
You guys should look at how similar Xalatath look to a Naaru.
I thought that thing in the roof of Hallowfall was the tip of Sargeras' sword
Nah. Might have been before metzen got back and retooled things, but the devs have stated a few times now that it is not the sword.
If the map in wow is geogprahically correct, the Crystal would be below Uldum/Unguro/silithus
Naruu ship?? I assumed it was the tip of the sword stuck into Azeroth..?
The Crystal is maybe the bottom side of caverns of time
20:00 To (almost) quote Jerry Seinfeld parodying JFK -movie: "there had to be a second stabber"
What if the core way is the hole the naru ship entered
inb4 the arathi empire is an isle the size of isle of dorn
I thought it could be the tip of Sargeras sword
6:48 And mage tables summoned by Irish mages!
I mean they're setting up stuff beyond world soul saga here. I honestly doubt we're gonna go to where the Arathi are from anytime soon
The next expansion is "Midnight" what is Beledar become permanently dark?
Iam calling it now. Xalatath will summon/reawaken an old god at the momment of her defeat or shortly before we get to fight her.
@@NerdishGeekish Naturally 😂
Yes because Stormwind, Lordaeron, Our Arathi, Gilneas, Alterac, Kul Tiras on and on and on weren't all formed by the exact same thing you bring up for this Arathi Empire across the sea. War, death, conquest. It is the heart and soul of forging nations, countries and empires. The only difference is that on whatever continent these Arathi landed on their society became a united people rather than disconnected like on the Eastern Kingdoms.
I thought it was the tip of the sword....
I see the Empire coming in during the last titian, maybe Yrel teams up with them. and they're on the Titian's side.
@@hobosnake1Sarg would never team up with the void.
@hobosnake1 You're right, we're probably not close. Lol!
Final boss
What if Illidan becomes the last titan?
There are lots of loose ends from WoD. Whatever even happened to alternate Shattrath city?
It's was scrapped we also didn't get the jungles of faerlaton.(Netherstorm in outlands)

Half Elves. Arathi are from Human and High Elven Ancestors and together they become a nation on the other side of azeroth by a holy emperor.

They are WAY too on the nose with the 40k themed Arathi stuff. It's nice to be inspired by other franchises but it's another thing to so blatantly rip off a concept.
