For the sticking part, you could put magnets begind your bord and under your characters. I think it will be the best option for the sticking and not leaving any residue on the board.🤗

Attach the board to a thin piece of aluminum..turn put strong magnet on the piece. Then, you can also attach a picture hanger thingy (lol) so you can hang it on your wall.

I don't really have any good recs on how to get your pieces to stick other than just laying the board down flat. I have 2 different TBR things I do. One is a Wheel of TBR and the other is a series I call Have I Read It. I think it is a good idea that you took it easier on yourself this first month. This is amazing! Could you use magnets on your board to move the pieces? You'd have to draw the pictures onto the magnet for the circles with pictures. Otherwise you may have to film with the board laying flat. 💗📚📖

I recently told family and friends that used to get me "Wizarding World" types of stuff, that Avatar is a great fandom that has yet to offend others to my knowledge or make me feel bad for enjoying it so I'd prefer things from that fandom if they wanted to do geeky stuff.

This is an amazing game! Very imaginative, maybe a bit of Velcro on each square and the bottom of the figure you can get sticky back, easy apply stuff. Also I love the House in the Cerulean Sea & hope you do too.

This might make your board a bit heavy though and might make it bend too much..... 🤷♀️

I suggest using magnetic paint in the rounds on the board and sticking a magnet to the base of the figures.
