For some reason Jennifer Lynn barnes writes the most fun books- I’m not a big contemporary or YA mystery reader but I always pick up her books because they never disappoint!! I am also obsessed with Black Witch- so so good!!
Aw I love Neverwhere so much, but I know it’s definitely not for everyone. I can’t wait to get to In My Dreams I Hold a Knife annnnd The Hollow Places!!! Hope you enjoy them!
Love this video and your amazing channel and wishing you the best of luck with your reading your amazing books 📚 for the month of May tbr please stay safe and enjoy your reading love your family friend John xxx
Oooh, very interesting TBR! I read The Hollow Places in January and really liked it, it was actually one of the books that made me realise the existence of a whole genre that I really enjoy: cosmic horror. And I looove the cover a lot! 🌳I hope you'll have a good reading month 😊🖤
The Inheritance Games is my favourite book of 2022 so far, the sequel is really good as well. Book 3 comes out in September and I need it NOWWWW aha. This looks like a great tbr I hope you enjoy all of these 🌳
I'm reading the Hollow Places right now - I'm about 50% through the audio book and I've been really enjoying it. It's taking me a little longer to listen to than some, but I've been alternating between it and the Graveyard Book. Each seem to do well in smaller chunks (less than an hour) for me but I've still been having fun with both =)
@@BookRoast I wasn't impressed with The Inheritance Games at all. It seemed like a ripoff of The Westing Game, and the heroine was one of those "I'm not like other girls" creeps, lol.
I read all of the short stories in the Forward collection in April, and my ranking is: Emergency skin > Ark > Summer Frost > Randomize > You Have Arrived at Your Destination > The Last Conversation. The first four was 5 stars, the last two 4 stars. And of course: 🌲🌳🌴🎄🎋
I really like this video! So I've searched for your game and downloaded it! Thank you veeeery much! I'll try to understand rules! Good reads! If I'll play it I'll tag you surely!
Thank you si much, I LOVE your channel, your videos usually calm and relax me. They’re like e cozy place where to stop for a while in difficult days❤️ Anyway The hollow places is in my tbr this month as well, can’t wait to hear what you think about it🌳
🌳🌳 as a warning, I think Randomize is the weakest story in the Forward Collection, while Emergency Skin may be the strongest! I hope you enjoy The Inheritance Games - it is a lot of fun. The second book in the series was not my favorite but I have high hopes for the third!
Omg! I love the thing you used to pick your next read, the cards and board are beautiful 😍😍 Did you make those yourself or buy them?! I WOULD LOVE TO GET ONE♥️♥️
🌳 Hollow Places is a bit slow somewhere in the middle but after that it was a scary ride. I was having trouble in which genre to put it but finally settled for supernatural sci fi
🌳🌳🌳I'd say go for Emergency Skin, I loved it, but.... 😂they also have really good audible editions of all those stories, although I didn't know about them when I read Emergency Skin and didn't listen to it (but its Jason Isaacs 👀)
I'm not a fan of commenting on the looks of someone, but I have to say that I love the new glasses, so I'm gonna leave this compliment here 🙊 I hope you'll enjoy your reading month, I'm already curious what you will say about The Inheritance Games!
I recently read In My Dreams I Hold a Knife and The Inheritance Games, both were 5 stars to me (very different books haha but the inheritance games is really just a great fun time, I hope you like it!). I also read recently An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and loved it, the sequel is also great, and the audiobooks are full cast, so also great 😄😄 for the Amazon short stories, I recommend Emergency Skin. I love Andy Weir's books (The Martian and Project Hail Mary), but that short story was reeeeally not it 😬😬🌲🌲
Oooh all that sounds really promising I am so excited! And thank you for letting me know! I might let people vote on which but this is good to know to manage expectations 😂
🌳 hope you have some good reads in May! I’m still finishing up one of my books from magical readathon 🥲 but after that I think I’m doing asian readathon this month :)
The title is everything. And I always love the cards so much, they are so stuuuunning! =) 🌳🌲💚
The puns within you are strong 🌲 I'm also excited for my TBR this month!
In My Dreams I Hold a Knife. 🥰 5 stars from me. It is very high on my favorites of the year so far.
OMG THE HOLLOW PLACES!!!!!!! Hope you will love it!!
Good luck with your TBR!!

The Inheritance Games is my favourite book of 2022 so far, the sequel is really good as well. Book 3 comes out in September and I need it NOWWWW aha.
This looks like a great tbr I hope you enjoy all of these 🌳
I’m reading it now and really having a lot of fun so far!
@@BookRoast I'm so glad you're enjoying it
I need to try some of Blake Crouch's shorter work. Love the video!! 🌳🌲🌳

I’m going to give TBRvatar a go in June. May is a tidy up month of books that I paused during April for Readathon🌳
I really enjoyed The Inheritance Games I hope you like it too! Good luck with the TBR this month! 🌲 (awesome title 😁)
I hope so, nothing but praise in the comments! Expectations just going higher and higher haha

Loved this! So happy to see how interesting your TBR gets each month! 🌳🌳
Loving your May tbr! I hope you love In my dreams I hold a knife as much as I did, it's a very gripping story 🌳

I really enjoyed In My Dreams I Hold a Knife. I still think about it. The audiobook was excellent.
Great to know about the audiobook!

Oooh that’s a few votes for that so I might just go with Emergency Skin!
This was such a fun and great video and such a weird but interesting TBR 🌳 looking forward to what you think of it

🌴What a fun and varied tbr! And you look fantastic btw.
🌳 I just love TBRvatar videos
Thank you!
I highly recommend reading wayword pines as a standalone. I DNF'd the second book. But I loved the first one! 🌲
I keep hearing this also 😅
🌳 Hollow Places is a bit slow somewhere in the middle but after that it was a scary ride. I was having trouble in which genre to put it but finally settled for supernatural sci fi

Best title ever!
☺️💜💜
Me (alone in my bedroom when you pulled up Pines): yeeeeesssss!!! G’s gonna read pines FINALLY ✨🤩
Haha love the cheerleading! Brings me hype for the book 😂
@@BookRoast dude you’ve BEEN teasing reading this since like 3 years ago this is a big moment for me 😂
Yeah Gaiman’s stuff is a lot better when adapted
Emergency Skin is an AMAZING story
Didn't you read Atlas Six? What did you think?
I did! 🥰 I speak about it in the latest video 💜
Randomize was my least favorite of the short stories 😬 But Ark and Emergency Skin were great!
A reward would be to go on a bookcation, a book vacation
even though I love Andy Weir, I found Randomize pointless. Loved The Hollow Places until the end which was very disappointing
Here’s a silly question: is it an option to purchase your game??? Because I want this so bad.
🌲 Hello!
NO CABBAGE POT 🌳
we approve of this title 💯
I might lose my right to be on the internet but it is worth it 😂
The only Neil Gaiman I like is Coraline, which I love. Even his Doctor Who scripts are stupid- so many plot holes and ... dumb stuff! Oh, and "tree"!
If you go with Emergency Skin, listen to the audio. 🌳
