Hi G! I hope you are doing great. Just a tiny question: in my character can I mix it a little bit. Let's say that both my parents are Earthlings, but my mother is an earth descent and my father is an air descent. And I'm a mix of the two. Is it possible to do that??? 😊😊😊
So excited for this! When I started planning my character in the beginning of September, I actually added a fox and a bow to my moodboard. And then my character got into of the order of the Crescent, and now it fits so perfectly 🥺 I just had this gut feeling back then that I needed to add the fox and the crossbow!
As a member of the Mind walkers: my conduit will be daggers, for which I'll read Billy Summers And my legacy would be the faewilds which I'll be reading the Twisted Ones for. March is going to be a thriller/horror month this year
I was originally sorted into Mindwalker and had been fine, not ecstatic, but fine with it. In my mind I wanted to create a roguish Iltirian and initially, not knowing any better, I saw that being more of a struggle in the Mindwalker guild. But then you said SHADOW REALM and TIME TRAVEL and MULTIVERSE. And now I'm like. Yes. This is good. This is so good. I have decisions to make tho. This is the first time I'm participating in a readathon and the work you've put into building this world is amazing. Thank you!
I'm super excited for this. I really want a stoat animal familiar. I'm gonna read Redwall. They aren't on the cover but I think going with such an out-there choice a stoat even being in the book is probably the best I'm gonna get. lol

I’m a member of the archivists so my conduit will be a polearm! So for a book over 400 pages im reading HP Goblet of Fire and for my legacy I choose to align with Velinas. So for a prompt with high stakes I’m choosing ‘The Toll’ to finish out the scythe trilogy. They’re both chunky books so I’m going to spend all of March making my way through them! Love this readathon SO much!

I have been in such a readathon mood recently and I am so excited to jump back into the world of Orilium! My guild is the Order of the Crescent and I have chosen a Phoenix as my companion! Now to find a book containing a Phoenix! (I have already re-read HP this year) and my conduit is going to be a wand I think! I am an Earthling from Irtheria with a Wilding background so I feel the wand connects with me and nature very well! I am so excited for everything to come in the world of Orilium!

I'm so excited, this is awesome! ✨ My character has a slingshot as a weapon, and I'm really attached to it (and therefor my character as well), so I think I'm going to enhance it, and put it in the 'wand' category. I would have put it in the 'bow' category, but my character doesn't belong to that guild. Just sharing this, so that if someone else is pondering where to categorize their conduct, altho I don't know if this helps but. 😗

I think im going to use a carved bone necklace as the conduit. I like the imagery of the beaded rope wrapped around my character, Nila's, wrist and held up against enemies to cast spells. Then Nila will be a patron of Laima.

So I had to go with the Spellbook and Pocket Dimension. I probably would have picked something like a sword normally, but with the character, I made it wouldn't have made sense. I really need to work on an actual background for him, otherwise, choices like this are going to be really hard later on down the line. Haha. Take care of yourself and thanks for doing this. It is always really fun.
One of my characters is from the Order of the Crescent. One of the books I want to read is We Hunt the Flame. I think this will work perfectly for the bow.

As a member of the Order of the Crescent, I choose the quarterstaff conduit and probably the raven as a familiar. I may end up changing that, but raven was one of my first thoughts, and I have a perfect book for it already, so I’ll probably go with that.

I designed my character! Still have a few prompts to finish because of it but very proud of the character development. Amara (Orilium Academy) Amara was born to an Elf father and a water Earthling mother, giving her unique psychic and magical abilities. She herself falls into the category of Earth Earthling, but usually only goes by Earthling, as her powers extend beyond the Earth magic. Amara was born in a small village in Irtheria, close to nature, where she grew up until Amara convinced her parents to move to Kerador when she was a teenager. Although her peers spent their nights at taverns and festivities, Amara spent her time studying the science of magic. Amara’s parents were much more focused on the spiritual aspects of magic, connecting strongly to the Earth and disapproving of the study of magic. They believed magic is something one knows, not something one learns. Having Amara born with unique psychic abilities further cemented this belief; they did not understand why Amara chose to pursue Orilium Academy. Amara completed her novice path as planned, and has been sorted into House of the Arcane. She is still in search of her conduit, and wishes to connect with fellow Arcane guild members.
This is just so creative! I love it! The Novice Path was my first readathon and it’s just gets better and better 😍! Yay, so excited. But I can't decide which conduit. I understand the use of a lot of them. But what does a feather do? I mean, how do you use it? Does it let you fly or teleport? I am in the Crescent Guild and will have a cat familiar. Not chosen the book yet. I have just finished one that I might be able to stretch to make it work if I have to. If time gets short.

I am in the Crescent Guild and will have a cat familiar. Not chosen the book yet. I have just finished one that I might be able to stretch to make it work if I have to. If time gets short.
