Bought the Ronin top model in dawn orange colour and i have to say i think it's the most refined engine from tvs, from my perspective you can cruise a little over 90 upto 100 in highways, low end is amazing, mid end is great, still have to experience it's top end but I'll do it after first service. Stability is great, maneuvering the bike is also great it's quite nimble and the weight management is fantastic according to me it doesn't feel heavy even though it's a 160kg bike and the road presence is amazing like more than 10 to 15 people asked me about the bike and it's a head turner. But one thing which is a bit off for me is it's turning radius is a bit bigger, but moving the bike forward and backward is quite easy because of it's great weight distribution. Overall i am satisfied from the bike and what it's delivering to me as a rider.
@@abhinovpankaj1 it's a common issue i have seen especially in the right hand side mirror, you can go to the service centre to check and fix the angle of the mirrors, my bike is not having that problem i guess because i didn't felt any problems in my side mirrors.
@@narayannaik9041 nah man your question is not out of syllabus it's one of the most important questions, and about city ride experience personally I'll give 9.5/10 it's really easy to handle and maneuver the bike in city and traffic it's really quite a nimble motorcycle because of the well balanced weight distribution and good low to mid end torque and GTT technology tvs given. Road presence is also really good. The only thing which bothers me a little bit is it's turning radius, it's quite big. Over-all city ride experience is amazing according to me in this bike.
Hi Bro, A Honest review. I am also owning a Base variant of Ronin. I did a 750 Kms ride in 2 days which comprises of Hills, Forest roads, Village roads and Highways. As you stated 80-90 Kmph is the sweetest cruising soeed of this bike as the RPM will be less than 6000 RPM. Previsely 80 Kmph reached at 5000 rpm itself which can be sustained for whole day. At this speed no vibration felt just a buzz at petrol tank, no where else. Also I got overall mileage of 50 Kmpl on this trip. Really a potential bike. One can easily use this bike for most of the purpose. However for longtime cruising on highways, one will definitely feel the missing of 6th gear.Thanks once again

Do buy the ronin only if you are going to use it in the city most of the time. The bikes loses its charm after 55km/h. It loses acceleration after 55km/h and fizzles out. Also it has the worst turning radius. The only good things are its exhaust note and smooth performance at city speeds. It also starts smoothly and silently. But in the highway the power of Ronin fizzles out making it weird. I actually upgraded from unicorn 150 to ronin 225 . In the city i feel like its an upgrade but on the highway its almost the same as Honda unicorn 150. Like it says in the video description TVS has made this bike to perform in the city by compromising on highway performance

With same confusion i finally bought Ronin, I'm happy with it (few friends own RE classic and recommended not to buy RE for high cost on maintenance and service issues) Things i considered over hunter Features, smooth engine and ride, mileage, light weight and there is not much difference in top speed and Ronin acceleration is quick and only after 100 to 110 kmph hunter can overtake Ronin, i very rarely travel at that speed.

The bikes nowadays coming out of indian manufacturers are refined as fuck and great handlers too, great for all our purposes from street riding to touring. You can't go wrong with either of them, book a test ride, you will decide for yourself. The only suggestion I would make is check with customers from respected service centers because at the end of the day, after sales experience is what's gonna makes us love or hate the brand. Most of the service centers are decently good, but you don't wanna end up in some poor quality service center. Good luck bro.

You can cruise at 85 to 90 in Ronin Features, light weight, maintenance, mileage are things which is considered over hunter and I'm so far happy with my buy. Bike is much bigger n premium in real
I would give a bit more preference to Ronin because of the seat cushion and the lengthier positioning of the pillion footpegs. (Not suggested for one side ride)
For the cost of almost 2 lakhs, cruising speed of 80 to 90kmph is extremely disappointing. Fz25 or hunter or even the domi 250 would be a great choice..

Tbh doesn't matter how good of a rider you are, with maturity and age i learned a lesson, never ever on Indian roads other than highways drive a bike more than 70-80 km/hr. You never know when a dog, cow or human can come all of a sudden. Even expressways are not safe as well. Biggest problem is driving etiquettes which we Indians lack. No lane respect, no indicators, chapri cutting each other and coming wrong way... Two wheeler can still be controlled upto 80 km/h but above 100 it's on God's wish
Very worst experience as a owner since I buyed it almost a month not crossed 1000km and 4th time it's in service centre front break not working and sitting confort is very bad not even half and hour you can ride there is a pressure build in tail bone rest you all guys decide

I have the same variant, the only issue I feel is with the side mirrors. Nomatter how I set it I always see road very close to the bike .

TVS should supply a smaller REAR sprocket for Ronin so that it can go at faster speeds at low RPM.
The only downside I felt is the off-balanced side stand. I can't turn it on its stand because it seems to be very forward set.

No issues with long distance ride. Just completed 550 km single ride today on Ronin.

One can tour on any bike, however, Ronin seating position looks weird. It almost feels like you're squatting on a toilet seat. Reminds me of Bajaj V.
