Literally constantly getting into fights with the commenters that don’t believe the benefits of using a Cpl for portraiture. Planning my own CPL video for the industries I shoot. Great Video!
Thank you! People for some reason don’t mention it in internet or RUclips, so other people don’t believe 🥲
Oh wow , so informative! I really appreciate it , now I need to find a good CPL 🤙🏾
You’re welcome 🙏
Thanks for this! I think the usage of it for portraits is REALLY underrated. One thing that a lot of people use is small flashes for fill light in portraits. But smaller pop of light often looks a bit harsh and I think using a CPL can really help take some of that off. I'm starting to think it's a "must have" for everything. Sure you lose 1-1.5 stops of light but so many cameras now have in-body stabilization that I think more than makes up for the loss when using a CPL.
Yes, since I leave in Hawaii I mostly shoot in a bright sunny days so I don’t really care about loss of light, but CPL and Mist filters both 99% of the time on my lens.
And people don’t know that Cpl also helps with greens and skin tones, which is really helpful
I learned a lot from this video good work man 👏
I’m glad that helped 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Great Video
Thanks!
how do you only have 115 subs?? Are you planning on making videos about more filters?
Thank you! I just started 5 week ago. Yes, I’ll do more about nd, vnd, mist filters and about other gear, techniques etc 🙏
Great video!! What filter is the one you’re using in the video?
Thank you! I’m using NiSi filters 🤙🏼
Could you please assist me in recommending filters for the Sony A6500 camera?
It depends not on the camera, but on the lens you are planning to use. You have to check lens diameter (like 67 or 72 or 77 mm or others) and get the filter with the correct size to crew-on the filter on your lens. Brands I used and love them: Nisi, Tiffen, Lee Filters, B+W
Would you recommend this on fujifilm lenses?
Of course. Any lenses if you need to shoot through reflective surfaces, in a forest, cars, landscapes, portraits etc
What filter do you use?
Nisi cpl
