If you have a shite channel like mine you don't loose many or any subs when changing bikes😂. Get some leather throwover panniers for your Indian.Boy they had some great deals on them I would of been tempted to try one with mid pegs if a Dealership wasn't 3 hours away.
it's encouraging as a new rider seeing you just taking a calm ride around town. too many sports bike drama guys on here. i bought a Kawasaki Vulcan S (650) crashed it on my 5th day owning it. but i can't wait for insurance to sort stuff out and the body to heal and get back to figuring it out.

@@TheXone7 a lot of things. #1 i started my ride around the time i normally go to bed. #2 i ended up riding ~40 miles when i intended to only go 10 #3 i ended up on a lot of unfamiliar roads at night. #4 got angry because i stalled at an intersection and overaccelerated out of the intersection on a hill. #5 didn't keep my hand on hovering over the clutch so i lost control of the bike as i death gripped (held on to the bars so hard any movement resulted in more throttle) all of this led to me being bounced out of my seat and on the rear fender with the bike accelerating towards a right hand blind turn. i chose to aim for the grass instead of make blind turn with a bike i wasn't in control of. More experienced riders please chime in! my solution until i have better habits if/when i ride again: Don't ride outside of my normal schedule. stay on well known paths of travel at night. master my clutch control. pull over when i get frustrated instead of riding mad. even if its just for single minute to get back in the right mindset
That Indian is sounding great...agree re small blocks and what is it with folk always park 50k cars on the street and the garage is choka with about $2.80 worth of crap...oh well car thieves love it.

Nice jacket. Apparently I need to buy a higher class of bike. I got a keychain with my last one, and when I asked about a bag, I got the one the keychain came in. The side-mounted ignition switch is a cruiser thing. Most manufacturers think that’s how it should be located. I carry my opener in my chest pocket. I can press it without opening the pocket. Looks like magic. If you keep emphasizing safety over style the cruiser community will kick you out. Its do rags instead of helmets and fingerless gloves here in the US unless it’s a helmet mandatory state.

I've been interested in another bike for a bit and Indians keep coming into my view to think about. My Cherokee grandfather, as opposed to my white grandfather, rode an Indian Chief or Scout back in the 1950s. If an Indian bike was good enough for the Cherokee man who taught me every skill I needed to survive 15 years of on and off-combat duty, then they're good enough for me. Great idea moving the mirrors but that key-fob hanging off the handlebars looked a little precarious dangling around like that. 👍
